With a hi-fidelity output that outpaces all smartphones, the A1 Headphone Amplifier satisfies the need for high-quality audio from a digital device. This small, lightweight amp has a durable modern appearance with sensitive and reliable volume buttons and a 3-color LED status light on the power button that indicates its fully-charged with a green light, charing with a red light and low on power with a flashing red light. The battery is fully rechargeable with a 13-hour playtime.
The device also has four EQ modes for maximum flexibility which can be switched by briefly pressing the power button. The indicator light will appear differently depending on the EQ mode: a blue LED on continuously is flat mode, the blue LED flashing once every 2 seconds is Bass 1, the blue LED flashing twice every 2 seconds is Bass 2 and the blue LED flashing three times every 2 seconds is Bass 3.

Comments about FiiO A1 Portable Headphone Amplifier:
This is a really nice little mini amp, it has excellent power to really push your Headphones and IEM's.
It is very small and easy to put in your pocket or simply clip on to your shirt, it's about 2 inches high x 2 inches wide x 1/4 inches thick. It's insane that this Little thing can make my Klipsch Image One V2 headphones vibrate to the bass of my Hip hop music as well as my chopped and screwed Basshead music.
Now let's talk about what is on the FiiO A1 device.
It has a micro USB input for charging your mini amp as well as 3.5mm input from source, at the top it has a 3.5mm output for the earphones power button & volume buttons, it charges in about 2 hours with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 charger which is 5 volts 2 amp hours the minimum recommended charging is 1/2 an amp hour at 5 volts of current. That would take 6 to 8 hours to charge the mini amp which is too long of a charge.
It gives you about 7 realistic hours of amped music under Bass 1 which I really like at 75% volume. It can give you 10 hours under the standard flat sound at 75% volume which is not bad either.
It has 4 EQ settings with a very dimmed blue led light.
1. "flat" Bass, Mids and Treble equally at 50% = blue LED on at all times (Sound simply increase by volume only)
2. "BASS 1" Bass increased to 90% with mids at 80% and treble at 100% = 1 led flash every 3 seconds (Sounds the best)
3. "BASS 2" Bass increased to 100% with mid at 75% and treble at 85% = 2 led flashes every 3 seconds. (Sounds a bit muddy)
4. "BASS 3" Bass decreased to 80% with MID at 0% and treble at 75% like a V shapped frequency but with 50% less volume regardless to the device volume being at 100% (Sounds way too low)
Over all this will make any headphones or earphones sound GREAT!!!! And it is shockingly very affordable.
I will be buying the FiiO A5 next since I just purchased the Shure SE846 Clear version though they are on back order here at Guitar Center.
I highly recommend this amp as the first choice before consider
