Player Series Pickups Provide Iconic Strat Tone
The Player Stratocaster HSS is equipped with a power trio of pickups—a humbucking bridge pickup and two single-coil Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions. The bridge humbucker packs punch and output, perfect for heavier styles of music. The single-coil pickups have the quack, sparkle and chime Strat players know and love. A five-way pickup switch provides a wide range of tonal combinations so you can create any sound you desire.
Updated Tremolo Bridge Enhances Feel and Stability
This Strat features an updated two-point tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles for enhanced playing feel and rock-solid tuning stability. The two-point tremolo has a smoother tremolo arm action and improved return-to-pitch accuracy compared to previous designs. The bent steel saddles also help keep your guitar in tune, even after heavy tremolo use.
