Overview

The limited-edition Elite Nashville Telecaster HSS mixes bleeding-edge performance with timeless visual style. It’s the future of workhorse guitar design—a versatile, unique hybrid that was made to tear it up on stage or in the studio. This custom-contoured Tele guitar’s stunning looks, easy playing feel and flexible sound can scratch any musical itch.

A direct-mounted ShawBucker humbucking bridge pickup, along with pair of Pure Vintage ’64 Tele pickups in the middle position and neck positions give this guitar a uniquely powerful voice. Designed for enhanced playing feel and speed, the compound “C-to-D” shaped neck sports a fast 9.5”-14” compound-radius fingerboard, medium jumbo frets and a bone nut. Polished chrome-plated brass saddles adorn the hardtail bridge and the headstock wears an old-school silver Fender logo—aesthetic touches that give it a touch of class.

Comments about Fender Parallel Universe American Elite Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I am not one to write reviews, however I was moved to do so after getting my new Parallel Universe Nashville Telecaster and playing it over this last week. I am very pleased with this guitar purchase and feel every penny was well spent.

Even though I could not be any happier with my Gibson SG Standard, I wanted a single coil guitar to accompany the SG. Besides the SG just seemed lonely and in need of a companion. I must confess that while I love only one woman , I lust over many guitars making this purchase a difficult one.

After months of trying out guitars I found the Parallel Universe Nashville Telecaster HSS to be everything I was looking and more. I feel in love with the feel of the neck and the sound versatility of this guitar. The direct-mounted ShawBucker in the bridge along with a pair of Vintage '64 Tele pickups in the middle position and neck positions delivers giving this guitar a uniquely versatile sound. This hybrid tele delivers everything from an effortless enjoyable playing experience to some serious tone. The bright, clean single coil bite combined with the thick round sound of the Shawbucker, makes for an awesome tone machine!

My GC sales rep deserves some love because he was awesome in helping me make my difficult choice. I felt he was genuinely more concerned with me being happy with my choice rather than making an immediate sale which I appreciated very much. Over the years I have become disenchanted with the " buy today special deal" sales pitch. Uncharacteristic of many sales people I have encountered over my 54 years of life, he never pressured me to make my choice. Even after spending several Saturdays with me asking him questions and playing guitar after guitar of the huge selection GC had available on display. He actually encouraged me to take my time and to try out as many as I would like requiring him to climb that ladder many times.

Thank you Corona California Fender employees & Redmond Washington Guitar Center, you guys rock!

Comments about Fender Parallel Universe American Elite Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:

Plays like a dream, and I haven't even had it set up yet. Lots of tonal possibilities, with three different pickups and the ability to play with any conceivable combination of them. I love the Shawbucker especially - and you can adjust the pole pieces to make it play hotter if you want. My luthier tells me that another humbucker would fit in there if I wanted to put one in there in place of the Shawbucker - but I don't plan to do that (I like the Shawbucker). Full disclosure: I've loved Telecasters for a long time. The beveled edges make this the most comfortable Tele I've ever played. Well worth the coin, in my opinion.

Comments about Fender Parallel Universe American Elite Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I'm a Les Paul through a Marshall guy but this guitar is soooooo sweet.

If you have a thing for that humbucker sound, that's an option with this one. It's the best of both worlds. And while I'm still a Les Paul guy, the Telecaster is much more a "players" guitar. And of course if you lay on that back pick up, there's more of a country sound from this one than what you can get from a Les Paul.
