Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Professional Stratocaster with Rosewood Neck:

I went to guitar center wanting to buy a guitar for my son. I did end up purchasing a guitar for him, but as i walked the store i went into the guitar room. I knew the really nice stuff was in there so i went to browse. I scanned then it caught me like a beautiful girl from across the room staring at you. I had found the guitar i had been looking for. I went up and purchased this guitar, I have been meaning to buy a professional fender stratocaster, and i had found the one i wanted. I walked up to the checkout and told them what i wanted. They told me they had just broke this guitar out of the box and it had only been on the floor for about 3 hrs, it was just fate that brought me to the store that day. I think this guitar is amazing.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Professional Stratocaster with Rosewood Neck:

I was in the market for a new strat. I saw this hanging on the top shelf and it instantly caught my eye. Pictures do not do this guitar justice in person, literally gorgeous. I played an elite strat before playing this, and it felt nice and sounded great obviously but I put it back. I then picked this up and I am beyond speechless at how incredible this guitar feels and plays. I didn't think I'd be a fan of the high output v-mods(I play a lot of blues) but these are now my favorite pickups fender has on the market. The rosewood neck besides being so slick and unbelievably comfortable also gives this guitar a very unique treble heavy sound, the way a strat is intended. I thought the rosewood would add a darkness to the tone but it's actually the opposite. The best way to conclude this review, is this guitar is built like a strat is intended

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Professional Stratocaster with Rosewood Neck:

Every time I get to go to GC I'm like a kid in a candy store, I normally play a few acoustics and look over the Les Pauls and Strats. I bought a Strat for a friend a few years ago and took it over seas to him, well I got to play it and have wanted one since. When I saw Daphani on the top row I had to play her, she was the prettiest girl at the party so to speak. Plugged her into a small tube amp and I fell in love. That was in January, I dreamed about her, was worried that someone would buy her and I would never see her again. I was absalutely obsessed. Its not just a beautiful guitar, it sounds and feels great, like other reviews have said, right out of the box. Do yourself a favor and hunt one down to play one.

This guitar is legit. The rosewood neck is bright and crisp. The whole craftsmanship is awesome. The best part is the help I received from guitar center. Matt in Tacoma was awesome. Also the staff in Lynnwood . Thank you for helping me and thanks for selling great products.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Professional Stratocaster with Rosewood Neck:

First of all this is a beautiful guitar and I wanted to love it. Lost a little confidence when the neck position was intermittent and staticky on the 5-way switch prompting me to return it. But listening at the other positions, I found the bridge pickup to have much more treble than on my two other Strats, and that position is not affected by either of the tone controls. A YouTube video suggested that it might take substitution of humbuckers to tame the treble.

Prospective purchasers should listen to this guitar in the store as the sound may be to your liking. I just thought the Strat is trebly enough and the rosewood neck makes it too much. I know rosewood is supposed to sound mellower than maple but this is what I experienced.

I wound up buying the rosewood neck Pro Telecaster in its place but haven't checked it out yet.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Professional Stratocaster with Rosewood Neck:

I play in a classic rock/pop cover band. I own and play Gibson LP's, SG's, ES guitars as well as a number of Strats. I have loved Strats my entire life and did not need another. When I saw this Daphne blue, Rosewood necked beauty, I had to play it...and was sold...I bought it at the Manchester, CT store the very next day. I've gigged with it....clean sound is amazing...highly resonant and chimey without being shrill (as many strats can sound). I think the Rosewood neck and bone nut contribute to that extra something, as well as the new V-mod pickups that were pretty quiet. Fit and finish are perfect and the setup right out of the box was quite playable...I only needed to make slight adjustments to the truss rod as I changed from the stock 9's to 10's. This guitar sounds great through all my amps (Fender, Marshall, PRS and Orange) and I predict that it will become my "go to" Strat! I highly recommend this instrument to anyone interested in a Strat, even if it's your first...definitely worth every penny
