I bought this gig bag for my Charvel DK 24. I could not find a Charvel gig bag at a decent price or with good padding, so I ordered this one. The DK 24 has a lightly smaller body than a Stratocaster, so the short scale fits. Still the tremolo arm needs to be removed, but this is normal. There are not too many pockets, so I know exactly where all my accessories are. I also tried my ES339, which has a small body, but this does not fit.
Nice Gig Bag to Protect Squier Classic Vibe '60s Mustang

I purchased the FESS-610 Short-Scale Electric Guitar Gig Bag Black to protect a Squier Classic Vibe '60s Mustang. The bag is a good deal for its price point. All zippers function well, and the front pocket has lots of room for your guitar items, like music sheets/booklet, extra strings, picks, the tremolo arm, your cellphone, whatever...I am storing my Squier Mustang in the bag with its tremolo attached, and it fits well, (I don't recommend keeping your tremolo attached when transporting a guitar in any gig bag, but I keep this guitar in the closet the majority of its life, so I don't feel like detaching it). The bottom-line is that the Fender FESS-610 Short-Scale Electric Guitar Gig Bag Black is a smart quality purchase for safeguarding a mid-range priced guitar. The padding keeps it safe, it's roomy enough for a Squier Mustang, it's a good price, and a quality functional gig bag. Be a buyer.

I bought this for a Squier Mustang as a gift to a grandchild. It is a bit long for the guitar, but it will do the job, and he is excited. Glad that I bought it.

Just needed a simple gig bag that wasn't over the top expensive for a telecaster. This worked perfectly. Nice snug fit keeps the guitar from slopping around.
Great bag at a great price.

I bought this for my Fender Duo-Sonic, which did not come with a case. This short scale bag fits it well. It has good padding and protection, and an ample front pocket for accessories. The backpack style straps make it easy to carry. All in all this is a great gig bag.
I may buy another one for my other Strat.

For what it is, it is a great gig bag. Got a great price on it and it actually fits my standard MIM Strat. Nice and snug, but zips up fine. I would still be careful when transporting it in a car, etc. 10mm padding is good, but not super ... thicker padding would be nice. Fender also has a one year warranty on it bought through Guitar Center.
