Overview

Straight from the studios of Music Row in the home of country music—Nashville, TN—comes the Deluxe Nashville Tele, a tonally versatile performer with a unique (for a Tele) three pickup design. A distinctive entry into the Fender family, this Tele growls, snaps and screams with flexible tone that can match any song. With its original Fender style, customized switching and fast, smooth playing feel, this Tele is ready to command any stage from the local honky-tonk to the Grand Ol’ Opry.

Two noise-free, highly articulate Vintage Noiseless Tele pickups inhabit the neck and middle positions, flanking the Vintage Noiseless Strat pickup in the middle to create an unbeatable trio. These pickups crank out rich, articulate tone, with the balanced string response, definition and twang you’ve come to expect from a genuine Fender instrument. Flexible five-way Strat-oTone pickup switching unlocks various pickup combinations, providing the perfect sound for any performance.

Enjoy increased sustain and slightly thicker tone that complements the famous Tele twang, thanks to the modern six-saddle string-through-body bridge with block saddles. A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck. The flatter 12”-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out. Locking short-post tuning machines provide increased break angle at the nut for buzz-free playing and enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes.

Classic aesthetic touches include nickel/chrome hardware and a three-ply B/W/B or mint green pickguard, along with knurled flat-top control knobs and a black switch tip. A truly versatile performer with flexible sound, player-oriented features and original aesthetics, the Deluxe Nashville Tele merges the best of yesterday and today into a single, affordable design. Includes gig bag.

Comments about Fender Deluxe Nashville Rosewood Fingerboard Telecaster:

I just received this yesterday. Shipped from Fender to Guitar Center, and wow it looks and feels just great. The vintage noiseless pickups are giving me all kinds of tone options. Very excited to spend countless hours in the woodshed with this workhorse of a guitar. The build quality is superb. I just couldn't put it down last night... (3 cups of coffee in at work and I'm realizing that was a mistake). The Fiesta Red option is GORGEOUS! For the price, it is such a great deal.

Comments about Fender Deluxe Nashville Rosewood Fingerboard Telecaster:

OK. WAITED FOR EVER TO BUY A NASHVILLE TELE. LOVE THE LOCKING TUNERS, NOISELESS PICKUPS (THEY ARE DIFFERENT, YOU WILL GET USE TO THEM), BLOCK SADDLES, NECK AND FRET WORK, CONTURED HEEL JOINT. ALL GOOD UPGRADES TO THE CLASSIC TELE.

NOT COOL LIST... NOT INTONATED (LIKE THEY DID'NT EVEN TRY)... NOT STRING HEIGHT ADJUSTED (RANDOM HEIGHTS)... SWITCH TIP TOO LOOSE COMES OFF AT A TOUCH (FOR REAL, FALLS OFF)... ALL A SIMPLE FIX FOR THE EXPERIENCE GUITAR GUY, BUT I EXPECTED A MORE GIG READY GUITAR FROM MY FAVORITE GUITAR COMPANY IN THE WHOLE WORLD. THIS IS NOT MY FRIST FENDER, NOR WILL IT BE MY LAST. JUST EXPECTED A BETTER STARTING SET UP.

Comments about Fender Deluxe Nashville Rosewood Fingerboard Telecaster:

Mine is Daphne blue. It's beautifully made. I love everything about this Telecaster, except the "noiseless" pickups. They are lifeless. I was also disappointed by the plastic knobs. You can do better Fender. The pickups must be replaced, along with some metal knobs. Once I do that, I'll have a keeper. I would still recommend it...just be ready to swap out the PU's. 4-stars is the best I can give you.

Comments about Fender Deluxe Nashville Rosewood Fingerboard Telecaster:

Just so you know, I also own a limited edition rosewood neck USA tele with a twisted and a broadcaster. So I'm familiar with that tele tone. This is different, but spanky and fun. The middle pickup adds a lot of extra juice when recording. Going into solid state and tubes, the tele really holds its twang. Although it's not as warm with the tone control as my USA, it offers a lot that the USA can't. I use alt tunings for rhythm, and standard for lead. This thing handles the job. The only con is that you may get scratchy pops when your hand hits the -plastic during dry static weather. Don't know why Fender still uses material conducive to this behavior.

Comments about Fender Deluxe Nashville Rosewood Fingerboard Telecaster:

I tried on of these in a local music store the other day. It has great tone but no option for one of the most used sounds in the Telecaster arsenal: the center position sound with both pickups on. If I bought this I'd throw a toggle switch in to add the bridge pickup to the neck pickup Ala Steve Morse.
