Overview

Fat, hard-rockin’ sound and elegant Fender style unite in the Deluxe Strat HSS, a versatile tone machine with power to spare. The rich, warm humbucking bridge pickup adds a touch of thickness to the instrument’s voice, while special electronics ensure traditional Strat tone is close at hand; ready to go at a moment’s notice.

A time-tested performer on stage and in the studio, this graceful performer with smooth, comfortable playing feel will easily handle any sonic needs that arise. Two noise-free, highly articulate Vintage Noiseless pickups inhabit the neck and middle positions, cranking out traditional, crisp Strat tones.

The Twin Head Vintage humbucking pickup in the bridge position has moderate output, warm tone and even string response, as well as including a thick aluminum base plate to reduce magnetic interference. For traditional Strat tones, simply tap the S-1switch atop the volume knob to select the rear coil of the bridge pickup—voila, instant classic Strat sound.

Enjoy smoother travel when using the tremolo bridge, thanks to the modern two-point synchronized design, which includes bent steel saddles for classic aesthetics. A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck. The flatter 12”-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out.

Locking short-post tuning machines provide increased break angle at the nut for buzz-free playing and enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes. Sporting authentic Fender style and versatile sound, the Deluxe Strat HSS is the ideal instrument for players who need a variety of tones for the stage or the studio. Includes gig big.

Comments about Fender Deluxe HSS Stratocaster with Maple Fingerboard:

Quality feels top notch and in many ways feels like a USA. She is heavy, as some stratocasters can be. The locking tuners take a bit to get use too. The 12 radius '22 fret' neck feels real nice, but still barley remind me -its a MIM. Electronics feel pro quality. Bridge and tuners metal seems good. No cheap feel to anything. Here is the deal and I lie not -If you don't adjust the pickups on this guitar you may hate the sound. But when they are right, you will feel like you have your fender again. Tip: add about (at least) 1mm to both the neck, and middle bass side ..and treble side pups, past the recommended fender settings for noiseless singles. I can get a good Clapton, Mayer, SRV and much more from them. Its a Blues Guitar 'Warmer'! Only complaint I have is: The bridge pickup, in full humbucker mode, is like twice as loud as any other combination, and I cant help but question 'what was Fender thinking' on that one? Solution is to balance the bridge pups for split mode and I am happy with it.

    Great guitar!

Comments about Fender Deluxe HSS Stratocaster with Maple Fingerboard:

Great guitar! It has exceptional components usually reserved for more expensive guitars. It sounds fantastic, and plays very well. The noiseless pickups are smooth and a bit warmer than traditional strat pickups. The humbucker is pretty hot...but it's articulate. The neck is easy to play and the frets were filed very well. The locking tuners are extremely stable.
    Overall, it's a great guitar!

    FENDER BLEW MY MIND

    By Samvardhan

Comments about Fender Deluxe HSS Stratocaster with Maple Fingerboard:

I was really really skeptical about this guitar in particular because the noiseless pickups and the 12-inch radius are not the standard fender things I am used to, a lot of people said the noiseless sound horrible and they don't give the classic Fender tone. But when I played the guitar, it literally blew me away, the build was high quality, I own an American standard too and while comparing the build of the two guitars I found that this one is no less. The tone was extremely extremely good, it has got the fender chime and punch and noiseless pickups help me to play with really high gain without any sort of hum or noise, and that really helps in the studio. The 12-inch radius gave me a little trouble initially as I was used to 9.5-inch radius fender but after a couple of days, I got used to it and I could feel my bends were more precise on this guitar in comparison to the 9.5-inch radius strat. The Modern C neck profile and the 12 inch radius is probably my favorite combination now.
Also, my friend got this guitar for me from Georgia to India, and I was shocked to see the AMAZING SETUP done by Guitar center folks. It needed NO adjustment at all even though it traveled from the USA to India. The locking tuners and the two point tremelo give the gutar a very good tuning stability.

The 12" radius of the fret board is a little different offering from Fender but
    I like it.
