The Old, Tough and Original Fender Case

Years ago when I was in high school (class of '74) a lot of us would bring our guitars to jam wherever we had an open slot (about 2 hours daily) and good Lord! I was so jealous of the guys who would bring in those long, black hardshell Fender cases with that chrome Fender logo on the low right hand corner. It was a long time coming, but I eventjally worked out that I finally had one for my Strat. So now these days the only one I have be jealous of is.me! Haha☮

Just Didn't fit

Alright so, I just bought a Fender Strat Pro2 and wanted a more vintage case to house it in. Once I got both the guitar and case I tried putting my new strat in. It was a REALLY tight squeeze to fit the guitar inside and I didn't feel comfortable with it being left in. Turns out the new case that came with the Pro2 was the perfect fit. I also tried an old Fender Squire which there was no chance being able to fit inside. Overall, it's a great looking case, love the interior and exterior but not the right one for the job, just wish it would have said so on the description that it only fits specific Strat and Tele models. My only con would be the handle did seem a bit flimsy, perhaps made of some kind of cheap plastic; other than that I would say it's a cool vintage looking case. Wish I would have taken a picture of it before sending it back.

    I have an older Fender in the black rectangle format which has lasted over 50 years. This case seems to be a level up. More and softer padding and a few details on the compartment like the snap strap. But the color is fantastic. Not just another black or tweed case.

    Had an old case that just collapsed after years of use. Plus, it was a generic case so my Tele would flop around inside. Had to use bubble wrap and other materials to try and secure it. But with this Fender case? A perfect fit!
