Crafted with a unique spruce top over a paulownia core, this Telecaster offers a resonant, acoustically vibrant tone that supports Paisley's dynamic playing. The custom-wound '64 Tele bridge pickup and Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup provide the perfect balance of warmth, clarity, and twang. This Telecaster is built for performance, delivering the authentic tone and feel that defines Nashville's finest.
Lightweight Fender Telecaster Body With Acoustic-Like Resonance
The body of this guitar is crafted from a paulownia core capped with a spruce top, creating an ultralight yet robust design. The combination of these tonewoods delivers a lively, open resonance reminiscent of an acoustic instrument, making it highly responsive to dynamic playing. The spruce top adds a bright, articulate quality to the overall tone, while the lightweight paulownia core ensures extended playing comfort. Finished in a relic nitrocellulose lacquer, this instrument exudes a worn-in character, complete with visual charm and tonal depth. The result is a Telecaster that's as comfortable on stage as it is in the studio.
Custom Wound Pickups for Classic Telecaster Tone
This model features a custom-wound '64 Tele bridge pickup paired with a Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup, offering a versatile tonal range. The bridge pickup delivers punchy, articulate twang with a crisp attack, while the neck pickup provides warm, rounded tones with enhanced clarity. Together, they create a balanced output that's perfect for everything from rhythm playing to soaring solos. A simple yet effective control layout, including master volume and tone knobs and a 3-way pickup selector, allows for precise tonal adjustments, ensuring players can dial in the perfect sound for their performances.
Enhanced V Neck Profile for Effortless Playability
The maple neck on this guitar features an Enhanced V profile, designed for optimal comfort and effortless navigation across the fretboard. The shape fills the hand comfortably at the nut, making chords easy to fret, while it flattens out in the upper registers to facilitate smooth soloing. Its 9.5-inch radius maple fingerboard and medium jumbo frets support fast runs and wide bends, catering to Paisley's fleet-fingered playing style. Finished with a relic oil treatment, the neck has a broken-in feel, ensuring it's ready for long hours of play without discomfort. This thoughtful design enhances precision and comfort for players at any skill level.
Road Worn Finish and Signature Details
The Brad Paisley Telecaster is finished in an eye-catching silver sparkle Road Worn lacquer, complete with aged hardware for a vintage, tour-tested look. Signature touches like the clear pickguard adorned with black and silver paisleys and the cowboy hat insignia on the headstock add a unique, personal element to the guitar. The compensated brass saddles on the 3-saddle bridge ensure accurate intonation and sustain, while vintage-style tuners maintain tuning stability. These features combine to deliver a guitar that's as visually striking as it is reliable, making it a standout addition to any collection.

Beautiful Telecaster!

This telecaster was an excellent buy! The look it like nothing I have seen before. I love the sparkly design. Not much for the road worn look but it's not a dealbreaker. The pickups sound great. Super light. The lightest of all the tiles I own. The neck feels great. The neck sounds a little on the thin side but after a good setup that should take care of that problem. But the tone is like no other. This one will only go up in value over the years, if you're a collector. No regrets on this one.
Great guitar that gets better with age!

I've noticed some reviews talk about the sticky neck finish when the guitar is new. I had the same issue but with a short amount of playing that wears off and becomes a slick neck. I've had this guitar for about 2 years now and it's the guitar I teach for more than any other. Love this guitar.
Not Impressed.

This guitar doesn't make sense to me. The finish is a not very convincing relic yet the guitar doesn't feel broken in at all. Isn't that kind of the point of a relic guitar? Shouldn't it feel old? The fretboard isn't rounded off yet the price tag is very high for a non US instrument. A smarter move is to just buy a Mexican Standard tele and upgrade the pickups. I'm sure this review will get a bunch of down votes from people blinded by their favorite brand. If you're not on the Fender payroll why can't you read an honest review without getting offended? This is not a great guitar or a good value.
I really love this guitar!

I bought this guitar in store about a month ago. The biggest draw to this guitar was the neck. I really felt more comfortable than I have ever had with any electric. I am mostly an acoustic guitar. This guitar felt like an extension of me...I really fell in love with it. I also love the road worn feature...! A guitar is meant to be played and banged on. The sparkle finish...is definitely not me. But couldn't pass up the deal. I cant wait to break it in more.
Poor setup, not a feeling of quality

I had high expectations, given the rave reviews from all dealers and individuals on YouTube. But in the end, the guitar had a buzz that wasn't going away, the split saddles had the strings in the cracks, and it just didn't play well. Pros: I guess the pickups were cool. Hard to hear over the weird string buzzes. Interesting neck shape. Might have been nice one all the black oil was cleaned off. Cons: Oily neck (on top of the lacquer, why?) you end up with black fingers playing this guitar, even after changing strings. Oil on the backs of all the tuners. D and G strings buzzing up and down the neck, in spite of the saddles being cranked up. Weird belt sander ledge on the "arm wear" area. Ridiculously light. Felt like a plywood silvertone guitar. All the setup measurements looked ok, but it just didn't play well. It buzzed and something kept cutting into my right hand a the bridge. This was too much money for a guitar that was going to need work to get playable. The more I read online about this model needing new saddles, nut, neck shims, the less excited I got. I really wanted to like this guitar, but it wasn't happening. My $299 2008 Mexican tele plays far better and it couldn't touch my 52 American Vintage reissue. I don't blame guitar center. This was brand new, untouched, out of the sealed box from fender.
finish makes neck unplayable

These guitars have a finish problem that makes the necks unplayable. They used a special finish that checks and relics easily. Unfortunately, this finish is extremely sticky; much more so than even a classic vibes tele. I trIed three guitars at three deferent stores. All three had the same problem. Staff tried to blame the issues on previous customers hands being sticky. Nope. These came defective from the factory. Expect these to be clearanced soon. Buy one on clearance and sand down the back of the neck. Neck would be a nice thick profile if not for bad finish.
