Comments about Fender American Original '60s Stratocaster Rosewood Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

Looks amazing, sounds dull. It definitely is not worth the asking price. I've played some Mexican fenders that feel and sound about as good for a third of the cost. I returned my Am. Original for an Am. Special Tele and a MIM classic 50's Strat for the same price. I am much happier now with those two guitars than I would have been with the American Original.

    About Me Experienced

Comments about Fender American Original '60s Stratocaster Rosewood Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

Exact same specs off my 1999 American Standard strat that I purchased new for less than $600. Now before someone starts stomping his feet about inflation, while that's true, the percentage of the price increases in the last 5 - 7 years from Gibson and Fender are far outpacing inflation which is actually hovering around 1.5%. We've had the meekest inflation numbers for the last 20 years then we've ever seen in the history of the global economy so don't talk to me about inflation. It's greed. Good old fashioned greed. The only way to fight these prices is to not buy their product. And I never thought I'd see the day a Mexican Fender topped out at over $1000. Are you kidding me? What a joke.
