Perfect

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

This amp is exactly what I was looking for. I use it for a small venue with a half dozen other players and the sound is as good as any other equipment there, most of which cost much more. I like the fact that I can use it for my acoustic guitar and a mic or allow a friend to plug in their instrument and have control over each channel independently. One of the attributes I looked for was an amp without undo sound effects. Reverb is the only addition I wanted and it works very well without being excessive. I am very pleased with the simplicity and the quality of this amp and would recommend it highly.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

Wish they made a amp like this with more watts and bigger speaker. I like that it doesn't have all the effects stuff, and is simple to use. My sure SM 58 mic sounds great through it, even with a guitar in the other channel. I used it for a gig with just the acoustic plugged in and it worked well, until a bar full of people started talking loud, and I tried to turn up. Next time I'll try to loop it into the PA, and see how that works. My Telecaster even sounds good through it, with the guitar volume all the way up and the amp volume half way. Great little amp for the price.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

I use a Pod X3 Live that goes into the system, and I wanted this for stage volume, and boy does it deliver!. Great tone and I barely have to turn it up at all to get plenty of sound out of it. It's also super light, which is something I look for in all my equipment as I'm getting older. It also came a day earlier than it said when I tracked it, which was awesome because I had a gig that night and was able to use it within hours of it arriving!

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

I ordered the 40W for in-store delivery and was aided by friendly staff who made sure I left with everything I needed. The amp is perfect for those interested in reverb without the additional effects. I can't believe I waited this long to get plugged in.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

The Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier is a wonderfully portable and good sounding acoustic amp. I tested the Fender Acoustasonic 15 15W 1x6 and I thought it had a good sound but I didn't want the Chorus effect I wanted the Reverb effect and the 40 had reverb. It cost more to get the 40 over the 15 but I got the reverb, more power, and a nice tone for the price. Except for the reverb the 40 s a bare bones no frills amp and that's what I wanted. By the way It is just as portable as the 15.

The quality of the amp is realized as soon as you open the box. It is well-built and quite attractive. It has a big sound for such a small package. I plugged my Taylor 714 Nylon into it and set the Amp EQ knobs flat. I adjusted the volume on the amp. The EQ knobs on the Taylor were flat with half volume. I played a bit then adjusted the EQ on the guitar. When that sounded good I flavored that tone with a bit of reverb and that was good enough to get me through the afternoon. I have other settings for different songs or environments but this was a good place to start.

I plugged a microphone in and that is a separate channel that requires its own EQ. There is no balance control except your ear. It also works well when you plug in other devices for backing tracks, etc.

Overall, a great amp for a reasonable price.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

Although I've only had the time to play with it for about 20 minutes, I was quite impressed with the crisp, clear sound. I wish I would have bought one of these a long time ago. Perfect size for a coffee shop gig.

A nice little amp. Very lights weight, small and sounds good. However, I would have liked to purchase the Boss Acoustic Singer Live Amp but, at 500.00, I had to settle for this amp.

Absolutely awesome little amp. Perfect for me. Use both my 6 and 12 string. It enhances my Taylor 12. With the controls and that awesome reverb, the 12 sounds like more than one guitar. Thanks Fender!

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

Needed a small acoustic amp (classical and steel) to replace my fried Crate; wanted front-face controls, EQ, reverb and quiet (no hiss); power was less important than tone / fidelity; it's not a gigging amp unless you gig mainly in your living room, but meets my expectations very well; XLR ports allow micing my vintage 12-string without 1/4" adapter; only nit is digital reverb is only serviceable, not as effectual as a spring device, but it works decently.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2x6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier:

Great little amp for what I wanted: Practice. Run a mic and a Trio into it (beats the hell out of a metronome.)
It would be fine for small room, acoustic and vocal; but not enough juice for a larger room.

I bought this to use as a practice amp and a performing amp at church. It does well for both, and would make a great monitor as well. However, I have a small church. It's not as large as it looks online. It is sufficient for what I needed. The sound is great and it looks great, just kind of small. About the size of 3 shoeboxes side by side.

I play in several groups. My music room is upstairs and at 70+ I am tired of lugging equipment up and down. A Loudbox Mini is too pricey so I tried out this Fender 40w amp. I need a mic input along with one for my jazz box as one of the groups is big band where I do some singing. This has the volume to match the 20-piece group and is nice and light. It has a regular reverb...don't need any other effects. I also play an acoustic Avarez in the Arizona country groups I'm in and confident it'll do just fine. Oh...and I got a great deal when I traded in my previous amp.
