Created in the Fender Custom Shop, this road-worthy stage companion is equipped with Custom Shop ’60/’63 Strat pickups, which are hand-wound to the exact specs from the early ‘60s. Featuring a two-piece alder body, a rift-sawn maple neck with ’63 C profile and a round-lam rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium vintage frets, this Journeyman Stratocaster looks and feels just like the original. Plus, vintage modified #2 wiring with tone-saver treble bleed gives the player the ability to roll off volume without losing delicate highs. Additional features include five-way pickup switching, vintage synchronized tremolo and tuning machines, a bone nut and a wing string tree with metal spacer. A deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity are included.
