Evidence Audio ranks the Lyric HG Microphone Cable among the best cable they offer. The combination of high-grade IGN copper conductors and solid core primary conductors means the Lyric HG offers up smooth midrange and highs with clarity and focus that reveal the harmonic detail and articulation. The mic cable's 20 AWG conductor size is large enough to communicate punch and authority, yet small enough to preserve a sense of air and delicacy. The symmetrical design of the Lyric HG cable allows dynamics to scream from the quietest of backgrounds without using the shield to carry your signal.
Other design benefits include conductive skins applied to the positive and negative runs for reduced microphonics with high gain amps, high-density copper braid shield to ensure a clean signal to your amp, and woven nylon jacket for increased flexibility and protection during stage use.

Comments about Evidence Audio Lyric HG Microphone Cable:
I thought they were crazy charging this much for a mic cable, but I had a gift card and I had accumulated everything else I need. Someone walked away with my favorite cable at a show, so why not give it a try. The first try was against a good ProCo. It was way better all-around. More articulate, more detail, made my voice sound more appealing. Then I tried Monster performer 500. Again same thing although the Monster sounded fuller than the ProCo. Finally against my Mogami Studio. Less of a difference but the clarity was improved and higher frequencies were more pronounced but smooth...not piercing. A little know secret...the Hosa elite is not as good as evidence but I would argue for the money I would buy it before anything lesser than the Evidence Lyrig HG. I'm super particular about tone and articulation with vocals and guitar especially. If you are not similar in this way, then you likely will not appreciate the difference, however.
