Event is a company known for their professionalism and reliability, and with over 15 years of experience, they continue on the tradition with the 2030 studio monitor. The 2030 is Event' first 3-way monitoring system that combines three discrete drivers to allow for incredibly accurate reproduction of the entire audio spectrum. Event monitors have become a staple in most professional and project studios alike.
Three discrete drivers
The Event 2030 is a three-way studio monitoring system that provides unmatched performance in its class. It combines three discrete drivers with precisely engineered acoustic design, signal processing and amplifier technology to provide an incredibly detailed and wide soundstage with a bass response that far exceeds what most would expect from a box this size.
Event's engineers took the three-way concept to a new level, resulting in a class-defining speaker system with compelling audio performance and a physical embodiment that makes it ideal for use in near field applications. A new wave guide assembly was designed to house the speaker's mid-range and high frequency drivers as well as optimize audio dispersion and power response characteristics.
For the critical mid-range application a 3.5-inch cone transducer was engineered using a pressed pulp and polypropylene cone, combined with an optimized magnetic circuit. The driver is loaded onto a shallow wave-guide that results in increased sensitivity and output while generating very low distortion artifacts, giving the 2030 speaker system an incredibly defined, upfront vocal character.

Comments about Event 2030 Studio Monitor:
Bought some of these for my home studio. I use them at my mixing desk with the Allen & Heath QU32 mixer. I also have a seton a Korg Kronos X. Unbelievable sound reproduction for the price. Warm but overall flat response with good punchy base considering no separate woofer in the floor. I've had the Event Tria system years ago and was never really disappointed but changed over to Blue Sky, then Yamaha, B&W, and now back to Event as my primary desk monitors. Still use the Blue Sky sat 6.5's w/sub on a keyboard and will likely replace with another set of the Event 2030's w/o sub. I'm still a big fan of Yamaha and for the money the HS series are great little desk monitors but currently only use Yamaha DXR series for live gigs. Event will keep it's place at my mixing desk for now.
