I saw the review of the guy who said the handle broke on his...so I was a little sketched. I bought one and when I got home noticed that a few of the rivets had already broken, and someone had tried to "fix/hide" the problem by hot gluing the metal corner to the case!!! Can't get any more ghetto. I reordered another one, There was some issue with the hinges not lining up. So I traded for a 3rd one they had in the store. That one has done me well. I pack it to the max w records. I lug and carry it every weekend to Dj in San Francisco. So far it's given me no problems. People need to remember that Dj equipment is for a dying breed. The companies that are making the stuff are sketch to begin with mostly. So, be patient, inspect the products thoroughly and save your receipt.

First and foremost, most of the case is made out of some kind of plastic. There is a very real possibility, in my humble opinion, that this thing could break if you dropped it, or banged it up against something really hard. So if your vinyl is worth more than that to you... be aware of that. That being said, it looks nice, even up close (you can't tell what it's made out of unless you actually touch the thing), and it would probably get you to more than a few gigs and back, if you make a point of not dropping it while it is full. Oh, also, if you tip the lid all the way back, it comes unhinged. Not a biggie, just something to be aware of, that I haven't seen happening with other cases like this. Despite the limitations, and apparently somewhat cheap construction, I'll probably get years of use out of mine. I guess not such a bad deal after all is said and done

Handle cannot handle weight

By Analog Blonde

from Hollywood, CA

Comments about Eurolite LP-70 LP Case:

I purchased the top loading case and found it to be very heavy with only 25 lps inside. Lifting it with only 25 lps inside to move the records and the handle broke on one side. USELESS TO MOVE WITHOUT HANDLE. I had stored records in it for one month, then it was time to move, and then it gave out on me. Do not buy this for records. It is not a professional case, it is fake.

Great for the price but so lightweight it won't last long. Mine didn't even survive the delivery process. Turned up damaged so am taking it back and heavier duty one

Comments about Eurolite LP-70 LP Case:

Great product for hauling vinyl. Plenty of room. I'd suggest that you plan of 60 instead of 70 records inside of it since some almbum covers are double or may have expanded with age. Great looking too.

They hold about 70-ish records and look better than using tote bags. However, I probably should have loosened up the purse strings and bought the more expensive ones, as these seem like they may not last long.

Comments about Eurolite LP-70 LP Case:

This case is perfect for the new records I buy without ever opening them. I like to support my favorite artists so I buy cynic and keep them in these type of boxes. It's just great. I have the lp and I can always buy a record player and amp and play music the old way. You also should do this as it's one of the only ways to get real value when spending money on music. Especially for limited edition records.

Comments about Eurolite LP-70 LP Case:

Other reviewers have shared that they've had bad luck with the LP cases they've purchased. Complaints ranged from shoddy workmanship to being poorly designed to fit holding the albums. Maybe I've just been lucky but my case is pretty, the handle has stayed on and its doing what its supposed to. Though the price seemed a bit steep I guess its understandable though interest in vinyl has revived a bit.

Comments about Eurolite LP-70 LP Case:

Not as well constructed as I thought it would be from the photos. The interior lining is uneven and lumpy in parts and may cause minor damage to the corners of LP jackets. No issue for LPs without jackets. The materials could be better. The latch mechanism is kind of strange. It does the trick but could be better.

Comments about Eurolite LP-70 LP Case:

The LP box has to iterations, the one pictured , another, which is one that has the top half removable.
I prefer the LP case that is pictured here, the other one has a weird indentation to accommodate for the handles, which encroach into the usable space inside, and it will make the vinyl covers bend a bit.

Comments about Eurolite LP-70 LP Case:

Bought one to store and have available to travel with my precious vinyl records. However, the model 70 does not fit 70 LP's in the case. I could get 55 in, that is, with plastic protective covers.

Will need to buy a few more cases.
