Why didn't someone think of this sooner!

I was looking for a tuner and a volume pedal to add to my board when I stumbled across this combination pedal. Great idea! This device accomplishes both while saving a spot on the board. The large display is easy to see even on a dark stage between tunes. Robust construction give confidence that it will be durable for years to come. There is no extraneous noise and little to no alteration in overall tone when used in the front of my board. It's only been 3 months but so far I couldn't be happier with this device!

Seriously, Ernie Ball?! Again?!

Defective right out of the box. I love the Ernie Ball Vp Jr and I've tried most volume pedals on the market. EB VP has the best sweep but I literally have to replace it every 1-2 years. I assumed after this long in the game that their new upgraded pedal would be great and it doesn't even work from the start. Technically speaking, the volume pedal part works fine so far but the tuner/volume screen has gone out 3 times in less than 30 minutes.

Sweet pedal with awesome display that is really easy to read. Just make sure you have a good power source for it. It requires 150 milliamp power source. It works kind of funky off of only 100.

  • I wouldn't reccomend

I bought an open box one which I think shows how well something would stand up to hard usage. It works very well as a volume pedal but, the tuner only functions at full volume. As soon as I release the treadle, the display goes off, then re-sets again once it is again at full volume.

  • I would buy this product again

I see several people claim these things are not durable, I guess time will tell. I'm using it as a volume knob, not for volume swells. I have another volume pedal for that.

  • Initially loved this pedal - but now display is going out
