Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings 3-Pack:

These strings are great for taking the thin, "tinny" sound that can plague small-bodied acoustics. However, they can improve the sound of ANY acoustic guitar.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings 3-Pack:

Went to get acoustic strings in a pinch, while doing session work. They didn't have my first three choices, so the salesman recommended these (always a reason for caution). Being in a bind, I gave them a try. Contrary to the packaging claims, I found them lacking midrange tone and clarity. This was on a Takamine rosewood/spruce acoustic and a Martin 000. Can't really speak for the longevity. The feel is ok. Not sure what they mean by "projection", but the volume wasn't as good as my regular brand of phosphor-bronze. Not an awful string, but just didn't have the midrange tone and clarity I like; they sounded kind of thin and weak comparatively.
