There are two things I find problematic nowadays. The first is the addition of pickups to most acoustic guitars, and the second is the move to light strings. I play my 12 string acoustically - even with a built in pickup - and light gauge strings don't give me the sound I want. Maybe it's due to the supply chain issues, but I had to search hard and wide for medium strings. The first order took six weeks to fill, so as soon as they were in stock I ordered two more sets.
