Ernie Ball Music Man

Description

The Tim Commerford Artist Series StingRay is a short-scale active electric bass designed in collaboration with the Rage Against the Machine bassist himself. Featuring an ash body, a 34" bolt-on roasted maple neck and ebony fingerboard, each of the Tim Commerford StingRay basses include a custom numbered neck plate (#1 through #50), a pickup cover thumb rest and an adjustable finger ramp for comfortable anchoring when playing fingerstyle. Equipped with a 3-position parallel/single-coil/series pickup switch and an 18-volt 3-band preamp for extra headroom, the Tim Commerford StingRay is ready to slap, pop and snap with clarity and depth. Additional features include a classic string-through-body bridge with adjustable mute pads and powerful neodymium magnets in the pickups for increased output.
