The best guitar for the price

This guitar is extremely fast and I love how smooth the tremolo is . The sonic ecstasy pickup's are just what I was looking for . And I do a lot of acoustic music so being able to dial in some really fun tones is awesome. Out of the box the set up was okay. It just needed the final touch for me . This guitar really pushes me to play the best that I can . It's been along time that a guitar makes me feel that way. I decided to get off that marry go round of buying and going through hundreds of guitars . And just never quite what I wanted. This is definitely my main guitar now . I also have a JP 6 . And they do sound different from each other

The superior guitar that falls short of excellence

First let me say, I am a professional musician. I soley use the majesty in rehearsal, and performance settings. I use this guitar on a daily basis for those purposes. I have used this guitar in this way for over a year Pros: It feels great with a strap. The weight is perfect. The practicality and design of this instrument is superior to all others, in my opinion. Con: the neck is not stable. Even most beginner guitars have more stable necks. I can walk from one room to another where the temperature is a little different and I have to retune because the neck has moved. While performing, especially outside, I have to constantly retune. Every chance I get, i am constantly checking the tuning. Possible Solutions: either a more stable neck, or a better truss rod. A floyd rose may help with the tuning issues. My dream guitar has now changed to a majesty with roasted maple neck, possible bolt on, and a decent truss rod.

These guitars not only sound so good and have so many options in tone, but they feel so comfortable to play from neck to fretboard to the body. I have the Black Knight in a 7 string and it's one of my favorite Majesty's.

Ive owned several JP6 and a Majesty first gen. The majesty monarchy is amazing. as soon as I picked it up I knew it was the dream guitar. The pickups, the satin finish on rear and neck, the pizeo, the POLISHED ebony board, the mirror inlays, the tuners, the access to the high frets, the thin fretboard, full floating trem, single output jack, recessed switches..the multi piece body and finish!... I have no fret buzz and it plays like a dream

I just picked up another Majesty Monarchy in Red, and it is incredible. The playability of the next, the flawless craftsmanship of the Music Man brand makes me feel embarrassed that I waited so many years to buy one. Matt at Guitar Center Cherry Hill was outstanding to work with and I highly would recommend talking with him if you are in the market for a JP signature model.

I've been a player for close to thirty-five years, with a decent collection of USA custom shop Jacksons, Mayones & Ibanez being my leading brands. After trying the Majesty, the neck is so fluid, smooth, and inspiring it is almost impossible to put it down. The guitar is massive sounding for being only 6lbs. I've seen reviews here complaining about the weight or sophisticated electronics, and all that info is available on the music man page. Do yourself a favor, before you drop a few grand on another guitar, try a Music Man out. I regret waiting so long to discover this fantastic brand. Shout out to Alex and the team at GC in Cherry Hill who was very helpful and knowledgable. I will be buying another Majesty very soon from these guys.

With small hands I do improvise! But, I love the feel of the neck, the size, the body shape, and the weight, which is very important to me when standing for long periods. Also, love the tones that this guitar has, especially the piezo pickup which sounds fantastic. I would recommend this guitar, especially to seasoned player! It is fun to play.

Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what the blemish is on this guitar. However, it would only be a minor scratch or dent.
