The Epiphone Jim James ES-335 is the signature electric of the vocalist, producer, primary songwriter and guitarist for My Morning Jacket. Based on one of James' favorite guitars, the Epiphone Jim James ES-335 features a '70s walnut-finished laminated maple body with a solid maple center block for increased sustain and a mahogany neck with a Jim James Custom SlimTaper C profile. This is paired to an Indian laurel fretboard with dot inlays. Alnico Classic PRO pickups are matched with CTS potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors. Additional details include vintage-style Kluson waffleback tuners with metal buttons, a circle/arrow emblem on the truss rod cover and an owl decal on the back of the headstock. A hardshell case with an owl logo is also included.

    This guitar is even better than I expected. The quality is top notch - you can really tell that the quality control team made sure this guitar was perfect. I also love MMJ and Jim James so that's a fun bonus. It's the most playable guitar I've ever owned or played. Highly recommend.
