I've had this guitar for a little over three years now. It took all my money when I bought it, but it was well worth it. This guitar has great volume and tone, especially when I replaced the strings with some phosphor-bronze Martins. This is a great guitar for anyone, unless you need an acoustic-electric.

I ordered this guitar from On-Line. It shipped and arrived in 3 days. The package was great. The guitar was boxed in two boxes protected very well. This guitar looks great and has a good price for a beginner guitar. I wanted it to have an acoustic around just to play to have fun. Here is the downer....the guitar arrived with the neck twisted beyond repair. I knew something wasn't right when I first played it, but just thought that it need a good pro set done on it. I took it to my tech to put new strings on and do the set up. He told me that the neck was twisted and to just return it. So I took it back to my local Guitar Center. Those guy's were great. They took it back no problems. Well I ended up going with the Fender DG-60 instead. For the few extra dollars for that guitar is a much better option. The DG-60 sounds great, plays great, and looks even better. The $60 extra for the Fender is worth it. The machine heads are better too. So I suggest to go with the Fender DG-60 you'll be happy like I am now.

I don't own this guitar, but I use it almost every day at my friend's house. You can play chords or power chords on it and they both sound great. You can palm mute it and it makes a great muted sound. It's loud too. We were playing it in the basement and when the vents were closed his dad came downstairs and told us to keep it down.

Bought this guitar as my first. I wasn't sure if I was going to like playing or not, so investing a lot in my potential "last" guitar wasn't an option. The only problem was the bridge was a little high to be able to play the around the 8th fret comfortably. After having it professionally set up, this guitar is nice.. Sounds like guitars 5+ times the price. HIGHLY recommend for an excellent first guitar.

I've owned this guitar for about a year now and overall I've been very pleased with it. For the price this is one of, if not THE best, guitar you can pick up. This is a great for a beginner player who wants to familiarize themselves with the guitar and want to learn the basics while also building up finger strength. The strings only need to be tuned once in a while. Also, when you need to change strings, the pins make it a painless operation. I recommend this guitar for anyone who is becoming serious for playing.

I bought this guitar two months ago and as time passed by the sound of it gets better and better. I changed my strings to Gibson phospor bronze and the sound is beautiful. It's light and the mahogany back and sides are gorgeous. An excellent guitar for beginners. Cheap but the quality is good. Good service also from guitar center.

Really nice guitar i just got it and it sounds great. It looks really nice and it's pretty large. I highly suggest this guitar to anyone. It's sounds and looks like its very expensive but it's for such a low price. I was very surprised when it came and I heard it for the first time. I underestimated the quality of this guitar. If you want a good guitar i urge you to get this one.

The Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic is an excellant acoustic guitar, for beginning and experienced players. This guitar has beautiful tone, and was in tune right out of the box. I recommend you change the strings from the stock ones, but that's up to you. Overall, this guitar is an inexpensive starter or travel guitar. Great for everybody!

I bought this guitar to start back playing again and i'm really impressed on how it sounds and just everything about it.It sounds great right out the box...I got the vintage sunburst and the color looks amazing..like most people on here said I do recommend changing the strings..I changed them and put on some elixer medium gauge polyweb strings and it sounds awesome..so I recommend this guitar for anyone looking for a great quality guitar for a low price.
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
This Guitar is excellent for beginners or intermediate players. The strings should be changed, they tend to break easily. Great price for an awesome guitar. I play it hard and it holds up to the hits. The sound is awesome. I have the black model and it looks as good as the $500 Guitars, for less money it's a solid buy.

I bought this guitar about a year ago, and I'm still loving it. It has a very good sound. It's good for beginners, too. I would recommend it. Worth every penny.
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
This guitar is an awesome acoustic. It will blow you away at how good it sounds. I personally reccomend putting acoustic Elixirs on it and it will make it sound 50 times better than when you first get it. Don't waste time and money get it now!!
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
This guitar is great. This is my 6th guitar and my 4th acoustic. I camped outside a store so I could get it. I was meant to go in and by a drum kit but I decided it should wait. This is really good. I was looking at the other reviews and they said you should change the strings once you buy it. I actually didn't and it still got a nice-ish tone. If I could give this six stars I would.

Got this guitar for Christmas last year and was impressed. its great for begginers to strengthen your fingers. Has a great sound and tone. It stays in tune for a while and is very durable. The only problem is that if your a beginner you will have trouble playing barrre chords because the bridge is pretty high. Overall great guitar
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
This is a great guitar, change the strings and youll find a great tone. The only thing is the strings are about half a centmeter off the neck, so after playing for a little bit your fingers start to hurt. But you can supposedly get it lowered so im gonna be looking to doing that soon.
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
I had to wait for two months to get it. And it was , I thought, backordered again. But I got it yesterday. I LOVE it. I put new strings on it, all of the reviews said to do it, and played it for four hours. I am a new, less than a year, player. It sounds great and plays even better. My brother in law came over and I had to take it from him he liked it so much. He's been playing for 20 years. so if you have to wait for this baby I recomend it. it is totally worth it.
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
I wasn't expecting this guitar to be that great, when i first saw it at least. But, i was actually surprised. Sure it has a high bridge to start and the strings are not the best for medium to expert players, but it dosnt' matter if u don't know the difference. Over all, i would say if u r a beginner then take it. If u have been playing the guitar for more than maybe 1.5 years, i wouldn't take it. Beginners, this guitar is definately for u!

i bought this guitar for my dad for fathers day, and it sounds amazing! i've played on it a few times and the sound quality never ceases to amaze me. it durable, and fits both me and my dad's style. awesome guitar!
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
My wife bought this for me as my first guitar. It's a great instrument for building finger strength as it's action is a little high for beginners. If this sounds bad, it's really not. By persevering and pushing through, I've been able to develop stronger and more accurate fingering when I play now. It wasn't until I played my dad's old Strat that I realized how much it helped by starting with this guitar. If you are looking into buying a first guitar, this is the one! It's a blast to play!
Comments about Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar:
This was my first guitar purchase and I am pleased to say it was a good one. I have only been playing for about 5 months so obviously this was a starter guitar. I read the reviews that everyone had put up and I just said "what the heck" and I havent looked back since. This is a great guitar for any beginner or anyone that wants a low priced guitar to go out and play at the beach or campfires.I would recommend it to anyone. I love the Epiphone products, partly because my grandfather left me his Epiphone Les Paul when he passed on and the other part is because you can ask for more with what your getting for the price they do put everything they have behind their product!!!
