Comments about Engl Ritchie Blackmore Signature 100W Guitar Amp Head:
I'm not someone who just buys by name or spur of the moment. I did a lot of reviewing and testing and found that the Blackmore does it all. Yes you can buy the more expensive invader but you mostly get dark heavy sounds. That's great if that's all you're looking for. Not me, I wanted an amp that has clean sounds like a Fender, a British sound like a Marshall and a metal sound like an Engl. This amp does it all and you can't beat the price. I used to have all the fancy knobs to make every sound adjustment you've ever wanted but I prefer now to have more simplicity in getting the sound I want. I can't say enough great things about this amp. I play through an Engl 2x12 and a Marshall 1960 4x12, the notes are crystal clear, creamy smooth and never tiring. I get complements all the time on my sound. I hope this helps in making your decision. Just try one out and you won't be disappointed. Happy searching
