Comments about Eminence Lil' Texas 12" 125W Guitar Speaker:
Assessing the sound from this speaker is, of course, largely subjective, but it comes across nicely to my ears. Your mileage may vary. At the same time, the high sensitivity made a mid-sized, ss gigging combo amp perceptibly stouter. And the neo magnet on the Lil' Texas provides that sensed power boost with a notable savings in weight, an increasingly significant point as I fossilize. Sounds good, sings louder as needed and carries easier. I only hesitate at a five-star rating because of the cost somewhat higher than other alternatives and the fact that the tone may not be universally preferred. Does work for me, however, and it should get sweeter as more use furthers the break-in.
