great protection for your ec style guitar

Since this case is created for the EC style of guitar, It sits inside it very securely. Unlike universal-style cases that allow some wiggle room. I have an EC-1000 that I absolutely love, and really wanted a well constructed case to protect it during transport. The inside is very plush and the outside is rock solid. The price may be a bit steep, but is well worth the investment if you really care about your guitar.

Strong, but 2 Tight & 2 Heavy

This is a strong case, but also way too HEAVY in weight. I think better protection could be had with lots less weight, & shock protection if the EXTERIOR was a more modern molded plastic composite reinforced at the edges with metal, instead of tolex type material covering over wood. The INTERIOR is such a VERY TIGHT FIT it leaves impressions of the strings&bridge of my EC1000 LTD, but after some use it eventually does create a snug " Memory Impression" cushion for ur axe, The roomy storage area is flat across the whole case, also acting as the neck rest. Personally I prefer a U shaped neck rest & a less "squashing" case, tho as I mentioned, it does eventually "imprint" & you can close the case without the initial strong pressure needed to latch it before u break it in a bit. The weight combined with your axe inside tho is EXCESSIVE by any normal standards. Overall, nice for the price.

The case fits my LTD ES 256 snuggly. I feel it will protect my guitar while I am traveling. The EC 256 is thinner than a Gibson Les Paul and does not fit well in a case designed for the thicker body. The case has a large storage compartment and anything you would need to take along will fit easily. The only thing I would change to the design would be to add protective feet to the bottom of the case.

  • Very nice case

General guitar protection. I wouldn't check it through baggage at the airport, but it's better than a gig bag.

  • Light weight.

I recieved mine with a pretty significant smash. You can see it's made out of press wood.
