Capturing the essence of one of the world’s most beloved and influential figures in metal music, the ESP LTD Alexi Laiho Ripped electric is among the final guitars designed by Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight frontman Alexi Laiho. The LTD Alexi Laiho Ripped is offered in an offset V shape with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale. It features a three-piece thin u-shaped maple neck with natural satin finish for smooth and fast playability, alder body wings, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard (scalloped from frets 19-24). The Alexi Laiho Ripped includes an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position for high-gain presence and clarity with a punchy response, as well as an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single coil in the neck, offering just the right mix of mids with a clear and full low end. Components on this outstanding guitar include Grover tuners, a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, a volume control and a three-way pickup selector. A deluxe ESP hardshell case is included.
