Dunlop

collapse expand iconDescription

A unique combination of crisp highs, aggressive mids and a focused low end gives Dunlop electric guitar strings a voice all their own. The Dunlop recipe for string-to-string balance and responsiveness produced a six-string set that is perfect for dynamic lead work, while notes in a chord ring out clearly whether clean or heavily distorted. This powerful voice is delivered in a low-tension string with a smooth tactile feel that breaks in fast and lasts a long time.

Dunlop has done it again!!!

Dunlop string are the best there is, the best there was and the best there will ever be! I have played 5 other brands before that, and none of them have the balls to sound well and clear. Dunlop strings are smooth, fast, cool, and long lasting. If you have not bought these strings yet than you better pull out some cash and buy them cause they are amazing and can really feel the difference.

Ok Strings

Tried these strings... Broke one within 4 days of re-string. Seem to tarnish very quickly compared to other strings that I have used. Overall sound is good and they seem to bend pretty well so far. We'll see how they hold up.

I saw these on sale at my local GC and and bought a bunch of them. I'm glad I did because they feel great, stay in tune, and have a really good recoil feeling when you bend the string.

  • Not for me.

I can't complain about the price but I dislike both the feel and tone of the strings. I had them on for three days and replaced them.

  • Fantastic

I've been a musician, Guitar collector and had a business repairing and rebuilding guitars. I've used virtually every string on the market. There are many good strings on the market but for the dollar Dunlops are the best for Electric guitars. They have excellent tone, less string breaks, last longer than most. My opinion, they are very similar to GHS with a lower price tag.
