Great Tone

By Dover

Comments about Dunlop Nickel Plated Steel Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

These light strings will get the most tone out of your guitar. I've bent and stretched these to extremes and they stay in tune. They sound a tiny bit tubelike but not a lot. The tube sound helps make better harmonics. They stick to your fingers so it's hard to use fingerstyle. Pretty nice strings.

First of all, when they say minimal break in time they,re talkin about a day! no kidding. i also like the way they feel on my fingers.though they are'nt good for fingerstyle. i also love the sound . I would Definately recomend them.

Smooth as silk,but.....

By C.B.

from Dunlap,TN

Comments about Dunlop Nickel Plated Steel Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

I put a set of these on my Stratocaster ,and I will admit these are some of the best sounding strings I have ever heard. These strings feel like your fingers are on satin, but on the first set the A string went dead the same day and the next set only lasted for three gigs before the A string and top E string went dead. I 've been playing for almost forty years and realize there isn't a string on the market that have the longevity they should ,but I can't change em that often. Awesome sound and feel ,but you better buy em by the case.
