it put them on my SG and it works well for that heavy sound, but have a different guitar ready for the more normal tones.

I just strung this onto my Dean a few days ago and I'm really surprised on how these strings are! I mainly play on standard but I decided to try out different tunings and found Tune D and Tune C# is perfect with these strings. I mainly play thrash metal and these strings gave it that extra thickness to the sound, making my palm mutes and power chords really rich. I recommend these for of course Drop tunings as it stays pretty tight even on Tune B or Drop B, so pick these up, you won't regret it.

I got these to try something different. I really like the attack and tightness of these in reference to D'Addario that I still use. Would like to see a '13' set or at least some singles. Probably will buy and use these in the future.

These strings are awesome for drop tuning. I play in drop c and I had no problems with anything except that the sustain of these strings wasn't very good thats why I had to give em 4 stars. I also wish that they would come out with a set with a .56 on the low e string. Keep it up dunlop!!!!
