EVH95 Eddie Van Halen

Description
Early on in the process, Eddie handed over his "holy grail" Crybaby—a standard Crybaby customized in the early '90s with a more vocal-like, High Q inductor and a wider frequency sweep. Amazingly, Dunlop found that over the years Van Halen's unique wah style, which uses mostly the middle range of the effect pedal's action, had carved his own curve into the pot's resistive element, making the middle range even more defined and increased the low-end sweep.
Dunlop's clones of the worn-in pot and hand-selected inductor give the EVH-95 the same "holy grail" feel and tone, and its true hardwire bypass, dual bright blue bypass LEDs, and graphics based on the black and yellow-striped guitar featured on Van Halen II round out this EVH-approved Crybaby Wah effects pedal with a voice and look all its own.

Very classic sounding effect but never falls short for more demanding use. You can use it for subtle sweeps or you can go wild. Requires deliberation to turn on and off so it won't accidentally activate or deactivate on you, but It's easy enough to activate that you won't miss it when it's time to throw it in the mix. Another bonus is that the yellow stands out and low light! I love it. Tough as nails construction.
Having fun making my guitar cry

I shopped around a lot before picking this pedal. I waited patiently while it was backordered. I almost settled for a Dimebag or Slash model. Thought about the Fulltone and Bad Horsey....glad I waited! As advertised this pedal cuts through the mix like no other. The mid boost is amazing. I can make this thing sound almost human. Tone, tone, tone. I love the 2 blue LED's so you know if it's on or not even if there is a lot of noise and chaos around you. I love that it has no knobs to adjust. It just has the one tone I was looking for. I've even gotten use to the black and yellow....kinda cool actually. Blows the regulary Crybaby out of the water IMO.

I've own several wah's through out my 30+ years of playing.EVH wah really takes the cake.I am really reluctant and skeptics about signature/celebs.indorse items. To me its just another form of marketing just to jack up the price.I went to my local GC and tried it out for thirty days or my money back guarantee. This is excactly the sound I've been looking for.It does'nt matter if your a EVH fan or looking for a particular sound like me,EVH wah is the one.The high treble..great for lead, squeals,or just missing around, and lows great for bombs....:This EVH wah is one that I use now.My friends thinks its too radical of a style for me.But you have to be radical to play radical...right.Thanks.
