Put the pedal to the floor and let the new DigiTech CabDryVR Speaker Cabinet IR pedal take you where you want to go. Featuring a selection of 14 great-sounding guitar and bass cab Impulse Responses. The CabDryVR allows you to run direct from your pedal board to your DAW, mixing board, or in-ear monitors with no compromise in tone. The CabDryVR has dual input and output, and a dry path to run to your onstage amp or monitors.
The CabDryVR also has patented Cabinet Tuning control to ad-just the depth of the cab, and an output level control on each channel. You can also run separate IR models on each channel just like mic’ing up two different cabinets. It is true bypass so it can be taken out of the chain when using piezo pickups. This CabDryVR is for hire.

Comments about Digitech CabDryVR Dual Speaker Cabinet Emulator Pedal:
Multieffects units sound good but to use my regular pedals and to get very cool amps, this is a great pedal for that. Two channels of independent cabinet effects, including a Dry out in channel B. The tuning and cabinets are similar to the Digitech later GNX series units. This is much smoother though. Compact design, 9 volt operation with power supply (no battery bay). This pedal has a whole range of tones, tuning control simulates microphone placement. Using it with distortion pedals and delays, I send the output directly to a Zoom recorder or a 2x10 bass amp with a tweeter built in. There is a whole pallette of sounds from warm to bright, smaller to larger cabinets. Another use I found for it is to use it WITH a multieffects like the Boss GT-100. I place it in either the effect loop and set the S/R location to a later place in the chain, at least post gain, or I go directly from outputs to the Cab Dryvr. That way I can have two separate cabinets. My suitable output setting found in the GT100 is the JC-return. This may be the poor man's Helix in a way. I get really chunky, heavy and unbelievable sound. This is a must have. The naysayers are wrong! Try for your self.
