The strap comes in three pieces. The main strap and then the two small clip locks that you screw into your guitar. Installation is easy, and so is putting it on. Just clip the ends. I love this item. Its very basic and reliable.

At first when researching these straps I was a little on edge about how the clips would hold up when playing guitar as I do. I am in a band and we definitely don't stand still and pose while we play so I needed something that would hold up. After researching and reading consumer reviews I decided to get it a shot. I can say that now that I've used the strap, it is incredible! It feels better than any other strap I've used and the clips really are reliable. They fit in nice and snug when you clip the two pieces together. The screws that they come with are longer than your guitar's holes are (unless you've drilled into them already) so the screws definitely give you all the insurance you need. These straps are a great buy!

This is seriously the only strap that I trust. I tear it up on stage all the time with my band, and I was looking for a strap that wouldn't compromise my performance, and I found the answer: DiMarzio Cliplok straps. You can jump all you want, throw your guitar anywhere you please, and move as much as you'd like.. This strap is not coming off when you don't want it to.

I bought the DiMarzio cliplok 2-inch strap as an alternative to some of the other straplocks on the market and I am very happy with the purchase. It has never failed and has held up exceptionally well through years of rehearsals and gigs. It may not be flashy (unless you consider lime-green flashy), but it does the job and is comfortable. A great buy.

Very comfortable and sturdy. I have used them on different guitars for years and haven't found anything that's comfortable that looks like it will last. Just ordered two more for a couple of newer additions.

When I tried out this strap on my Fender 1983 Mexican Telecaster, I was completely blown away with the strength of this strap! Now I can do jumping guitar spins without being worried about my guitar falling down! the DiMarzio Cliplock Guitar Strap replaces straplocks! It is a sin not to own this guitar strap! I recommend that you buy this strap whether you're a guitarist or bassist!

this strap is awesome. the first day i got it i thought it wasnt going 2 work. but when i putted them on n did some crazy spins they didnt fall off. the matriel on the strap are good.. if u do a guitar spin it would not come off. i tried to do all most any thing to make this strap fall but it did not work.. u should get these. im going to get it ever time a buy a new guitar

I figured this would be a good single strap solution for switching between guitars with different strap button orientations; Les Paul (button on the top), Gretsch (button on the back). And it is. And the strap is light and comfortable, but a little too thin to securely clip on my wireless. It slid down and then eventually off the strap, but securing it with a velcro strap solved that. The clips, however! Those little suckers mean business and they will pinch you if you get a finger in the way! Also it's very awkward to clip them in while holding the guitar, clip 'em in while it's still in the stand.

I bought this strap about a week ago. Very nice, Dimarzio. It's super comfortable and feels very reliable. Installation was very easy. It came with two sets of screws, each being a different size. Good thing, because the smaller one fit better on the horn of my Ibanez while the bigger one felt better on the bottom of the body.

Wow, I bought one of these and right away I could tell that I'd be throwing all of my old ones away. I installed the new hardware and things of the like in 45 seconds. I went to play in my garage and I could sling my guitar around and it never came off. I ordered several more and tossed all of my old straps. If you're looking for a new strap, look no further

WOW!!! This strap is awesome!! I purchased it because sometimes when I'm playing my strap would slip off or when I'm readjusting it it would come off. I bought this and it took 2 minutes at most to install it. It's more comfortable than my original Fender strap and it does NOT come off. Sometimes I show it off and I swing it around and people are AMAZED! I love this strap! Plus it purple so that doesn't hurt.

This is definitely the best straplock I have seen. I've broken other kinds of straplocks because I do lots of spins, jumps, and throws, but this one holds up under all the abuse I can dish out. It holds the strap right against the body of the guitar, which significantly reduced the stress on the screws. This also has longer screws than normal strap buttons, so it holds better. The only disadvantage is that you cannot use any other kind of strap with the guitar once this one is installed, but I have one on my backup guitar and my bass as well, so I can switch them out.

For some reason my review was published with 5 stars previously. It should have been one star. Here is the review: For the life of me I cannot figure out why these are so popular. In my experience with them they are just garbage. The point of a strap is to protect your pride and joy and to be comfortable while adding a bit of style. This does none of those things. To start with the mounting screws are far too weak to put up with actual gigging. If you only strap up a few times every few weeks, then you may be able to get by. If you are a serious musician you will find that any guitar or bass with... any sort of weight to it at all will cause the screws to bend inside the body and eventually fail. Next is the plastic clip design. What is the point of this? All it is going to do is wear out and break. You have to buy the entire setup so there is no saving money by switching out the strap from guitar to guitar. It just does not make any sense. So far as looks and comfort are concerned, this thing fails miserably. It is basically made from a lower-grade version of seat belt material. It is available is a wide variety of colors, but they all look cheap and that is because they are cheap. They are not thick nor wide enough to help distribute the weight of a quality guitar or bass so comfort is out. I suggest buying a real set of strap locks (I prefer Schaller thought the dual-design Dunlop is a great option as well) and quality straps and giving your guitar and your investment the respect you and they deserve. Don't bother with this thing.

I wish they made the strap length adjuster on the other side so if you're short (like me) and you want the Dimarzio logo to show you could do that without the strap length adjuster being on your shoulder and in the way. Other than that it's great!
