Love this mandolin

About Me Novice

Comments about Dean Tennessee Acoustic-Electric Mandolin:

I was looking for a $100-$300 electric mandolin and I saw this one and knew it was the one for me. The only thing I was disappointed about was the matte finish I thought it had but when it arrived it was shiny black, not what I was expecting based on the pictures, but I still love the mandolin.

Comments about Dean Tennessee Acoustic-Electric Mandolin:

I played bass and guitar for a long time and I wanted to get into mandolin, and this was a great way to get into it. It plays really well, and whilst it isn't the most amazing mandolin in the world, it is great for learning, and the built in pickups are nice because I have performed with mine a couple of times. This mandolin is a great beginner's mandolin, and whilst I had to make some changes regarding the intonation and height of the bridge, it is a great mandolin for it's price and I've enjoyed learning how to play the mandolin with it.
