Comments about DW 9502LB Hi-Hat Remote:
Buy this pedal! I'm not too fond of the 8ft cable it comes with, but it's just because it's too much(you can get a 2ft line that's perfect). With this pedal I am able to move my hi hats anywhere I want while leaving my foot pedal in the most comfortable position. I put my hats on the other side of my snare for more open playing. It opened up a new level of speed and precision. The action of the 9000 series is unbeatable. You would think you loose something by going remote, it is more solid than other brands regular pedals. I have never owned or played a better hi hat pedal.

Comments about DW 9502LB Hi-Hat Remote:
This thing isn't cheap, but it is really solidly made. The action is just as sensitive as a standard HH stand. I am tall with long legs so being able to put the HH cymbals exactly right for my reach and the pedal exactly right for my leg length is priceless. With a standard stand, either my leg was too cramped up or I had to reach way out to play the hi hats. I have never been this comfortable on the hi hat side. I wish I had done this long ago. It comes with the mounting arm and heavy duty clamps to mount it where you need plus a really nice travel bag and stick-release clutch too. If you can part with the cash and need a fully flexible hi hat solution, this is the best.

Comments about DW 9502LB Hi-Hat Remote:
I have two of these, one with an 8 foot cable on the right and my main hi hat with a 4 foot cable on the left. I wanted to reduce the stand footprint, and I am using a Gibraltar rack system to attach them to. Despite the weight of the hats - very heavy Zildjian Z customs - they are very stable. I replaced a traditional three-leg DW 5000 hi hat stand on the left and the action is exactly the same. Great chick and response, easy to hold partially open and very smooth. It was getting crowded with two hi hat pedals and a double kick (DW 9000) pedal and now it is much easier to go from pedal to pedal. Another added benefit is the ability to angle the hi hats so that they aren't completely horizontal. Granted, I'm not an extremely heavy player, but everything is solid and doesn't move around.
Comments about DW 9502LB Hi-Hat Remote:
Really easy to use and set up. Wished I had gone with the 8 foot cable though. The extra parts weren't needed in my case but love the system so far.
Comments about DW 9502LB Hi-Hat Remote:
Great product, hi hat a little sluggish compared to the straight stand (10' cable). The whole unit is unfortunately too big to be used over the bass drum without being in the way when you do drum fills.
