Comments about D'Angelico Premier Delancey Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I spent an afternoon at Guitar Center trying guitar after guitar (probably around 30) including several Martins and Taylors. This was the last guitar I picked up. I played then played some more. Then I really looked at it and found tuner and electronics. Plugged it in and played some more. Told my wife I loved this guitar. Played some more until it told me I had to take her home. I did :-)

      Amazing

      By Fred

      from Los Angeles, CA

Comments about D'Angelico Premier Delancey Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've never played a guitar this good for the price. The wood grain is just gorgeous the guitar is super light and easy to play. The way the mahogany projects acoustically is unbelievable, it has great resonance-- I almost prefer it over a lot of my rosewood guitars. The pickup also sounds great-- really in love with this guy! Can't wait to take it out on the road.

Great guitar, can't beat it for the price. The pickup also sounds really good. Love what D'Angelico has been doing with their acoustic line. This is my third D'Angelico but I can't get enough!

Excellent Guitar in sound and construction.

      By Buddy Borden

      from Mesquite, Tx.

Comments about D'Angelico Premier Delancey Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I play for enjoyment and will not pay extreme prices for a "name" on the top of the head stock. This instrument had a presence about it and looks exceptional as well.

The only glitch from giving it a perfect 5 star rating, was I had to adjust the action down a bit; however, it was not hard and I would recommend the guitar to anyone.

Needed set up out of box

      By Chris

      from San Antonio Tx.

Comments about D'Angelico Premier Delancey Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Beautiful guitar, has great tone, but the neck was bowed out of the box. The guitar is currently at my local shop getting the neck straightened out. The strings were about an inch off the neck at the base. I couldn't wait to get it and now I won't be able to play for 3 more days + $45.00 to have it fixed. If it wasn't for that I would gladly give it a 5 star rating.

Comments about D'Angelico Premier Delancey Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Brought this baby home 2 weeks ago. First thing this is a beautiful guitar. Out of the box the action was almost perfect for me a little tweak of the truss rod and I was set.
Not a fan of the stock strings and will switch those out with Martin silk and steel ( which are awesome) . I'm having to tune every time I pick it up but I'm confedent that that will slow down as the strings get stretched. The low end is low and the high not so high , I think the new strings will help with that as well. I spent 2 hours at GC trying every guitar $500 and under and this guitar felt perfect and had a better tone than all the rest. I have not plugged in yet so not very helpful for that aspect. I primarily play unplugged but I wanted the option for the future. I hope this is helpful and I will do another review after a bit more time.

I can honestly can't think of a better acoustic guitar for the price. Was in Guitar Center today and was totally blown away by this guy, both the look and the sound. The onboard pickup sounds great too. Wow!
