The product packaging has changed. I won't know if these are calibrated or not (my Steinberger TransTrem guitar requires calibrated strings) until I install them. Also no mention on the packaging that they are double ball (I had to open up the package to verify they really are double ball). I believe these are most likely the correct strings I ordered, but the packaging does not reflect it. Guitar Center needs to make sure what they sell is identical to what they state and show on their website. The website image clearly shows "calibrated" AND double ball. The package I received shows neither (though it does say TransTrem in small letters).
Till I find another company that makes em.

Rapidly mailed to my door. These are the best for the Steinberger at this time. Low price and high quality strings. They work fine with trans trem. I can no longer find these at musical dealers in the metro. The end of an era? Guitar Center would order them, so just easiest to have them delivered. Perhaps due to the economic downturn?? Good for Guitar Center to remain true to their relationship with Steinberger. As a hobbyist, I only wish one could get multiples of high e string, this tends to go fastest with the trans trem.

These strings won't fit on a strat so the previous reviewer needs to figure out what he wanted to review. I've used these strings for a long time on my 'berger and they last a lot better than the steinberger branded strings which I thought sounded a little dull after a short time. Had the worst luck with the laBella branded steinie strings which lost ball ends on occasion.

I bought these strings for my Fender Stratocaster. I strung them on, and they sounded great. But after a week, they started wearing out and sound bad. Don't buy these!
