D'Addario EJ17 Bulk Pack Phosphor Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings

Description
D'Addario EJ17 Phosphor Bronze acoustic strings offer heavier tension resulting in a bolder, more resonant acoustic tone with higher resistance for heavy strumming and flat-picking. Phosphor Bronze was introduced to string making by D'Addario in 1974, and has become synonymous with warm, bright, and well-balanced acoustic tone. D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings are precision wound with corrosion resistant phosphor bronze onto a carefully drawn, hexagonally shaped, high carbon steel core. The result is long lasting, bright sounding tone with excellent intonation.
D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.

Great product! 25 sets of strings at a fraction of the cost. We're you to buy individual sets. For the performing musician you can't beat it.

The D'Addario phosphor strings have been my go-to brand for many years. D'Addario is perhaps the worlds largest producer, so their strings are generally the freshest available, and I find quality control is very good. This set has a nice feel, solid and stable but not overly stiff like some medium sets. The tone is well balanced and breaks in with deep lows and a complex midrange. If you use a quantity of strings, it is handy having multiple sets, and this is a relative bargain at 70% off list price. The strings arrive on a six way bulk spool from the factory so they are not as tightly coiled as individual sets. This may help retain flexibility and tone. Since they are not wrapped in baggies, it's a good idea to store them in a cool, dry place. Their coated strings are also excellent. If you prefer a bright tone, they also produce an 80/20. Recommended.

I had to double check when I saw this deal. A box of 25 packs of d'addarios for less than r dollars each. I don't play with anything but d'addarios (even though Elixers are a bit nicer, but more expensive). However, I perfer the light gauge, but I have tried the mediums and they're good too. But that's all opinion. Still a great deal.
