Córdoba Mini ll EB-CE Striped Ebony Demo

Cordoba

Description

Cordoba's Mini II EB-CE is a compact acoustic-electric nylon-string guitar built for life on the go. Its petite yet curvy body is crafted from solid spruce and exotic striped ebony, producing a tone that belies its small size. A sleek cutaway provides access to higher frets, while the onboard Belcat pickup and preamp with built-in tuner allow for easy plug-and-play performance. With a scale length and nut width tailored for comfort, the Mini II EB-CE transitions effortlessly between practice sessions at home and weekend getaways.

Resonant Tonewoods Defy Diminutive Dimensions

The Mini II EB-CE proves that big tone can come in small packages. Its solid spruce top and striped ebony back and sides resonate with the richness and depth of a full-size instrument. Fan bracing optimizes the spruce top's natural vibrancy, resulting in balanced, articulate sound across the tonal spectrum.

Sleek Cutaway and Onboard Electronics Amplify Your Sound

A stylish cutaway provides comfortable access to higher frets for soloing and intricate chord work. The built-in Belcat pickup and preamp capture the Mini II EB-CE's robust acoustic voice for amplifying at home or performing live. An onboard tuner ensures you're always in tune before plugging in.

Short Scale and Narrow Nut For Easy Playability

With a 22.875" scale length and 1.875" nut width, the Mini II EB-CE feels familiar to electric guitarists and suits players with smaller hands. Its compact dimensions also make it an ideal travel companion, tucking easily into overhead bins, car trunks and campers.

I watched a lot videos preparing to buy this guitar, including artist demos, and was not dissapointed when it arrived. I used it for multiple concerts, and primarily use it for Latin-Jazz music. It has a great, sweet sound and it is so easy to play. The intonation is also pretty nice considering the size. The one gripe was how sharp the fret ends were out of the box. I have seen that to be a common thing with these guitars, but as soon as they were filled down the guitar was perfect.

  • Works great for me!

Being able to easily lower the action with the double truss rod along with its other pros makes it a pretty cool little ax.

I've played the ukulele for years, and my brother was encouraging me to "level up" to a guitar. However, all his guitars felt awkward and huge and the steel strings cut into my fingers. Eventually we found this mini guitar, and I think it's perfect as a bridge between the two instruments, while still giving you the full range and tone of a guitar. It's easy and so much fun to play. It's easy to keep in tune with the built in tuner. I can even hook it up to amps and put all kinds of effects on the tone. It also just looks beautiful and well made. My one complaint is that it's really hard to find a case. I have to wrap it up in blankets and keep it in a 1/2 to 3/4 size case.

The string guages seem large and I'd like to know what strings are available that would match those that came with the instrument. Thanks for your attention - I have used the double truss rod to lower the action considerably and Inwant exactly the same guage strings that it came with.

Size ? I need a small neck for a child that is around nine or 10 years old. It's so hard to tell the width of the neck because those measurements are not provided only the length

    Open Reply - Thomas
The width is only one factor. The shape (profile) is another. This would be a great choice for a 9 year old.
