Overview

The latest addition to the Composite Acoustics family sports a 20-fret OX cutaway body-style acoustic guitar, giving you a look and sound you won't believe at a surprisingly affordable price. The OX comes in the new "Raw" finish over the classic Composite Acoustics carbon top with a cool, edgy look and feel of brushed stainless steel. This specially made guitar has the same warm, rich tone people have come to expect from Composite Acoustics. The OX has more low end and power than their thin body X and more focus and definition than their bigger bodied GX. However, like all the Composite Acoustics line, it's a dream to play with a unique neck shape and soft contours.

Hardshell case included.

Comments about Composite Acoustics Ox Carbon Fiber Acoustic Guitar:

I am an intermediate guitarist who tends to play more acoustic. I bought this guitar online without ever seeing or playing one in person. No one in my area had one for me to try out. (YouTube was a big help on that one) Upon opening the box, I immediately strummed some chords and could not believe the sound. Very pleasantly surprised! Can make the sound very bright with a lighter gauge pick ( I used Dunlop Tortex orange and yellow), or can mellow it out with a stiffer pick ( I used Dunlop Tortex Green or Blue) My favorite sound comes with a Dunlop Tortex yellow pick. The neck is one of the easiest I have ever played on an acoustic. Like butter! I was worried that there was going to be a raised piece of metal around the sound hole, but was relieved to find it is just graphics to look like metal. The look of the guitar is way better than the photos online or the youtube videos. The Elixr coated strings make it very easy to play as well. My purpose was to get a guitar that will not be affected by the dry mountain climate and elevation where I live. I was a little apprehensive , but finally pulled the trigger after about a month of "research". All I can say is Wow! This guitar has exceeded every expectation that I had. The Composite Acoustic OX model fits me like a tailored suit, not too big, not too small, but just right. It has it all! If you are on the fence like I was, take the leap of faith with this guitar. You will not be disappointed!
