Description

The Byzance Ride Cymbals have a solid, full-bodied stick response with a clear ping.

Meinl's Byzance Traditional finish cymbals are handmade in Turkey using the traditional B20 bronze alloy. The profile of the cymbal is hand-hammered into shape. They are also lathed by hand. All this handwork goes into making a true musical instrument.

These ride cymbals have a nice dark character with an explosive attack and a long decay. Good for Latin, jazz, rock, pop, and country . . . a good all around cymbal.

Well, I made a bad review of this cymbal and I wish I hadnt. I have a couple other cheaper cymbals and when I heard this one after I bought it, I was expecting something different. Something like my other cymbals I guess. This one, after getting used to what a good cymbal sounds like, makes me want to get rid of my other cymbals. I would still go for the brilliant version of this cymbal if I did it again, but all in all a good cymbal.

I bought this cymbal and I really dont like it. Its way to dark for me. It has a decent ping but the decay is too much. If your looking for a dark cymbal, I guess this would be the one to get.
