The Chauvet OBEY 4 DMX controller is a compact DMX controller for LED wash lights with 3- or 4-channel modes-red, green, blue and white/amber-for easy color-mixing control.

DMX controller has built-in automated, sound-activated or manual playback options and can control fixtures in four different zones-independently of each other.

The OBEY 4's one-touch buttons of pre-mixed colors, built-in chases and strobe and dimmer controls make it perfect for a lighting novice or anyone looking for an easy way to control LED washes.

Good DMX controller for beginners

We bought a couple of these to help a friend get started with DMX uplighting. If you're a beginner with DMX, this is a good entry level controller. It makes basic decor uplighting pretty easy. I was very disappointed that this unit is basically an Obey 3 with an extra manual slider for the 4th (Amber or White) color. We have 4 color light fixtures, and this controller does not control them to their full potential. All of the automated functions work for RGB only. If the automated chases and presets used all 4 colors, I would give this controller an unreserved 5 stars.
