Comments about Chapman ML1 Pro Modern Electric Guitar:

I have all the big name guitars, strats, teles, les paul, prs, rics, deans, gretsch, over 14 in my collection and this is hands down one of the most incredible pieces. It is now my main go to. Play is so smooth and fast the pick ups amazing and the tone is amazing. it never goes out of tune and the extras you get with it are great. Amazing deal for the money

Comments about Chapman ML1 Pro Modern Electric Guitar:

I waited months for this preorder only to have to take this and it's absolutely terrible fretwork straight to the local Luthier where it will cost me hundreds more dollars and another month's wait at least. It's a compete untruth that you can get a guitar in this price range and it be even likely to be playable. I have many guitars in the $1000-$1500 range. All are the same. Terrible quality craftsmanship. Chapman brings no difference to the table in this category and it's actually a bit worse than some other import brands.

I really wanted to believe this was going to be different but it is not.

Comments about Chapman ML1 Pro Modern Electric Guitar:

I waiting my months for this preorder to arrive and immediately will have to wait more while the local Luthier gets around to it, and spend hundreds more just to make it playable,The fretwork is absolutely terrible. Hopefully that's the only thing wrong.

It's poor quality craftsmanship. However, that really isn't anything new in the price range. It's annoying that you cannot spend a thousand dollars and not have to have the product fixed as soon as you get it. That's the reality though; You do You might get lucky and get a good one; Most likely you wont. Point is, that hasn't changed here. I might consider buying another even though I'm unhappy because there are no other options. When it comes to quality assurance, no other import is different, and this is no different than you're standard import.

        High Points:
        Comfortable neck
        Pickups sound better than expected
        Wood and finish seem fine
        Case seems quite nice

Wanted to believe it would be different in quality but it's the same old thing. However, it's a new guitar on the market and it has its high points.

Comments about Chapman ML1 Pro Modern Electric Guitar:

I love this guitar. The playability is amazing, but the pickups are the reason I grab this guitar. The Sonorous Humbuckers and the way they are wired is what makes this guitar so undeniably versatile. I wasn't expecting the pickups to be amazing, and most of my guitars have had the pickup swapped out to something new. I do not plan on changing these anytime soon. The neck pickup is especially surprising to me. The clarity of it impressed me.
The neck is great. It reminds me of a 24 Fret ESP. Closer to a Ibanez Wizard Vs. fat Les Paul neck. I like a longer scale guitar so the 25.5 suits me well. (I think it is a touch longer than that). The top end of the neck is easily accessible, similar to a V shaped guitar. The fretwork is really well done, and mine has a really nice flame maple top. The flame has a weird twist in the middle that is really cool looking.
This guitar is still very new to the arsenal, but I strongly believe this will be my go to guitar for the foreseeable future.
For Reference: I have been playing for 31 years and this is my 33rd guitar I have purchased.
