Celestion G12H Anniversary 30W, 12" Guitar Speaker 16 Ohm

Put one in my Marshall DSL 20CR and is a huge improvement. Sounds much fuller and more bass. Only downside is the weight. It weighs over 10 lbs. In my amp it added about 3 lbs but the amp was light to begin with and still is. Overall super happy.

It can be bright in some amps ***Give it time to break in and you will be rewarded*** Nice "woody" tone when volume rolled off but turns into another beast when fully saturated. One of my all time favorites for those reasons. Earlier breakup helps too. With volume rolled back you can get Killer woody, organic, roots rock tones and then when you crank it handles high gain all day long and has a singing tonality. Single notes jump off the strings. It is also VERY touch sensitive. It responds to your pick attack EXTREMELY well. This gives killer dynamics when playing. If you are an experienced player who can roll volume and articulate your pick attack and have a dynamic amp you will be rewarded with this speaker. If you like very aggressive music mix it with a V30 for even more attack! HIGHLY recommended.

I've been using this speaker in low wattage combos for a while now. It has the right combination of breakup and clarity, particularly of bass notes. I learned of it from TQR. In a shootout, they rated it tops. I recently acquired a Special Edition '65 Princeton Reverb with a 12" speaker. It came with a Jensen P12Q in it. The Jensen didn't handle the amp up above 7 on the volume very well. So, this has found a new home and sounds great. If you have a combo 20 watts and under, give this speaker a try. It's the cheapest and easiest mod you can do to improve your amp

This Speaker to me sounds better than EVH gt1275 or Vintage 30s Let's Getem Goin Extremely Happy

I use these two of these in my 4x12 along with two vintage 30's and they are astounding speakers - they really fill out the bottom end while the vintage 30 brings the midrange punch. Awesome by themselves in 1x12 or 2x12 cabinets for brighter amps (EL84 or EL34) to give them more body. Great all around speaker for blues and rock.

I've bought a 412 Kustom cab, a few years back an wasn't getting the sound i wanted. So time to replace the speakers, I bought a pair of vintage 30s, and a pair of g12h 70th anniversary speakers. Both sound great but the g12h has a lot more bass and over all fullness, definitely the better speaker.
