This is the Buffet Tosca Eb clarinet, a professional level instrument that would be welcome in any chamber group, pit orchestra, or symphony orchestra. It is constructed of unstained African blackwood, and features undercut tone holes, an auxiliary Eb lever, two barrels, and HB and many other features professionals request. This Eb model has been developed by the most-talented Eb specialists of famous international orchestras combined with the talents of Buffet Crampon luthiers. The bore of this clarinet is a continuation of the acoustic qualities of the renowned Bb and A Tosca models. A rich tone, round sound, easy to play, flexibility and comfort are the main characteristics of this clarinet. The keywork has been improved to be more ergonomic. The position of the holes and rings has been totally reviewed to be as similar as possible to the fingering of a Bb clarinet.

Most clarinetists purchasing an instrument with this level of distinction have particular preferences in terms of mouthpieces, so the Tosca Bb Clarinet is priced and shipped without one. A fine quality French-made HB ligature is included. The HB is a silver-plated metal ligature that is very easy-blowing and provides a round, centered and brilliant sound as well as a superior dtach in the upper register.
