Description
Breedlove Organic Collection Signature Companion main features:

Premium Breedlove chrome closed gear tuning machines with black buttons, Breedlove Natural Sound electronics
Thin UV semi-gloss Copper Burst finish
Sustainably sourced all-solid tonewood body and torrefied top
The Organic Collection Signature Series pairs torrefied European spruce with African mahogany for a high-value, superior-sounding all-purpose instrument. The torrefaction process, accomplished at the source in the Swiss Alps, offers Signature models an "aged" sound and makes for easier maintenance during fluctuations in temperature and humidity.Classic Breedlove slim neck profile
Breedlove's slimmer guitar neck profile enables comfortable play, even with smaller hands.State-of-the-art Breedlove Natural Sound electronics
The Breedlove Signature Companion model is equipped with Breedlove's Natural Sound electronics. Natural Sound electronics feature soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, plus easy battery replacement.Thin UV finish on a convenient, travel-size acoustic-electric
Though it's a travel-size acoustic-electric guitar, the Breedlove Signature Companion has all the features of its larger cousins, including the benefits of Breedlove’s Sound Optimization research. A thinner, durable semi-gloss Copper Burst UV finish completes the Breedlove Signature Companion. The thin UV-finished top reduces weight and also contributes to a more complex sound with sustained overtones.Other special features of the Breedlove Signature Companion acoustic-electric include forward X bracing, chrome tuning machines and bone nut and saddle.
About the Breedlove Organic Collection
The result of a three-year journey, the Breedlove Organic Collection brings sustainably sourced, FSC Certified, solid native and exotic tonewoods to an affordable line of acoustic-electrics for the very first time. Each wood combination is available in Breedlove's three distinctive, popular shapes—Concerto, Concert and 12-fret Concertina. The Signature Series and the Wildwood Series are also available in the new travel-size Companion shape. Breedlove Organic models feature thin UV finishes and Breedlove Natural Sound electronics. With no synthetic materials and less than half the glue of similar models, the Breedlove Organic Collection provides the natural path to uninhibited solid sound.

The Companion model is the ultimate couch guitar. The Breedlove features (solid wood, torrefied spruce top, short scale and great playability.) beat the competitive guitars. And it sounds great for its size.
Great little traveler

It took me three attempts to find one of these little gems without damage - most of the ones in my zip code were display/demo units, but I was determined to own one. Very resonant and comfortable in my small hands. Good value for the quality of the build and features. No buyer's remorse on this purchase!
Sustainable but a waste of money

I bought 2 organic collection guitars at clearance. I thought I was getting a good deal and good guitars. The use of only half the glue as usual is one of the big points Breedlove uses for this series. Two weeks after buying the guitars the finger board came unglued from the 14th fret to the sound hole on one of the guitars. The other guitar has to be re-tuned every day.
Can't Stop Playing this Guitar

Ask any pro and they'll say buy an instrument based on function, tone, and playability. This guitar has a bluesy, folksy voice and volume perfect for smaller venues. It's tone is crisp, clear, warm, and balanced. The exceptional tone comes from it's all solid tonewoods construction, which is unbeatable at this price. Compare this guitar's tone to one that's much more expensive and you'll be surprised. Bends, hammer-ons, pull-offs, barres, etc. are easy and fun with this neck and fretboard. The build is light and compact; perfect for someone like me who is 5'6" with shorter fingers. You'll want to practice all the time just to hear it.
Very Nice

More than pleased with this instrument. Clean, non-boxy sound for a smaller guitar. Feels very comfortable. Could call it a coach guitar, but more than that--Electronics are good. Overall a surprising find. Recommend as a nice starter for smaller hands; good back up guitar and certainly nice for the road. It both looks and feels great!
