We recently upgraded from an old 30 year studio-grade piano (exporting to Floppy-disc is rather archaic) to the Yamaha Clavinova series. We intentionally picked the 701 model because the key noise was far less than the higher rated/more modern series. It matters to us because our kids play with headphones sometimes when the others are studying...and loud keys are frankly obnoxious and unwanted. Unfortunately, our experiences with exporting composed songs leaves much to be desired. Even using several varieties of (allegedly) compatible jump-drives, sometimes the system would bog down and refuse to export more than 3 minutes at a time. This is rather unfortunate- and makes it so we cannot reliably retrieve our compositions. If you go through all the trouble of making a studio grade piano, it really ought to have a more robust file save and transfer system.

This piano is truly lovely and is bringing happiness to my fingers and heart. The tone quality is beautiful and the action is responsive and fast, thereby making a wonderful experience. It only takes a second to change the voices while playing. I find myself closing my eyes when I am playing and just getting lost in the immersive sound. The number of voices and quality of them is extensive and pleasing. Yamaha blows the competition away. Sweepstakes just adds to the excitement. Whatever your needs are, this piano is lovely and will be what you are looking for, whether a professional musician, home player, , playing along with the stereo, singing, or anything you can think of. It is a true winner. I have been playing professionally in restaurants all my life and my Yamaha is great.

Just to make sure, there is a transposition button, correct?
Also, is it possible to buy rollers that will allow this piano to be moved around? Or is there an option to upgrade to a different stand?
