Already own Best Service's The Orchestra but want to expand the number of instruments, articulations and features? 

This upgrade transforms The Orchestra software into a fully updated edition of The Orchestra Complete, which includes expansion packs Strings of Winter and Tuned Percussion, plus all the other new features in the Complete edition, all for less than the price of any of them as stand-alone purchases. This upgrade lets users extend orchestral colors and features even further while maintaining the intuitive and fast workflow they are already accustomed to.

In addition to retaining all the features from The Orchestra, this upgrade bundle comes with 108 new presets, combining the latest version of The Orchestra with the complete Strings of Winter and Tuned Percussion packs within the same Ensemble Engine. It also adds the much-demanded MIDI export feature, allowing users to drag presets into their favorite DAW.

Two authentic new ensembles

This upgrade adds the complete Stings of Winter package to The Orchestra at a highly affordable price. Strings of Winter includes a wide array of new string articulations, plus signature sounds from the national instrument of Mongolia, the Morin Khuur. Together, these sounds give users the ability to conjure icy images reminiscent of the arctic. This was accomplished by recording a 41-player European string orchestra and the Mongolian State Morin Khuur ensemble.

The European string orchestra was split into 5 sections performing a number of detailed and extended techniques for this collection, including Trills, Sul Ponticello, Harmonics, Col Legno and Bartók Pizzicato. The resonance and raw complexity of these new articulations was captured in the classic room of Studio 22 in Budapest. 

The Mongolian State ensemble plays the Morin Khuur, or "horse head fiddle," the national instrument of Mongolia. This traditional instrument has two strings made of horse hair and is played with a bow also strung with horse hair, giving it a delicate and airy timbre. The Morin Khuur Ensemble was recorded at White Arch Studios in Ulan Bator with an orchestra of 15 players split into high and low ensembles.

NOTE: Only buy this product upgrade if you already own The Orchestra from Best Service. New users should instead purchase The Orchestra Complete, or separately purchase the stand-alone Strings of Winter or Tuned Percussion packs.
