On 2nd board and it's down

Comments about Behringer XENYX XL1600 Live Mixer:

I'm on my 2nd XL1600 board. First one after about 3 months several of my channels died. Two times I had to take it to the authorized repair shop recommended by Behringer which was 1.5 hours away and $20 a pop for tolls. Finally after two times they decided I should have a new board. Received the new board and within 1 month one channel died and just last week the left main out died. Contacted Behringer and you guessed it, I'm off on a 1.5 hour drive and out $20 in tolls to take it to the authorized repair shop. I've owned a lot of Behringer products and this is the first time I've ever had a problem but it's been a huge one. If I could I'd just get my money back and buy something that works properly and is reliable. I would not recommend anyone buy this board until they can work out the bugs.

Garbage mixer.

By Mario

from Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

Comments about Behringer XENYX XL1600 Live Mixer:

I bought this mixer from an authorized dealer in Guadalajara, Mexico. The first few days everything was well, the fifth or sixth time that I used it, one of the chanels started going out, I switched the mic to a different chanel and it seemed to work fine, after a few minutes one of the chanels died. I thought it was the amp failing and I cheked things out, but it turned out that it was the mixer. You have to hit the bak of the mixer to make the sound ome back. I strongly advie NOT to buy this mixer. In my ase I'll never buy any BEHRINGER produt.
