More boom for your buck!!!

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:
This sub is definately what you're looking for if your on a budget. I use this with a 2500 watt Behringer Amp and Behringer 2300CX crossover. If tuned just right on the XO, you get all the boom you need with this sub. Its kinda heavy so you gotta cart it around kinda but great when you use it.

Good bang for the Buck, However..

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:
Generally speaking my pair provides a massive bottom end even in outdoor applications. I power them in bi-amp mode at 700W RMS per cabinet with a Samsom 2800 amp. A few things to note: 1. To use them in bi-amp mode requires flipping the switch and RE-WIRING the neutrix connector at the end that attaches to the speaker. Make sure you mark which end is which. This is really stupid. 2. As is typical with all Behringer products the user's manual causes more confusion than illumination. And I'm a schooled tech!! 2. There is a distinct and annoying inherent ring at 190hz and above. But those aren't sub freqs anyway. I set the crossover at 120hz with a high pass filter cutting everything below 44hz so for me it's not an issue. 3. A corner brace in the cabinet became unglued after 6 months. 4. The bolts holding the internal cross-over together became loose and started rattling badly around the same time. Install lock washers and re-tighten. Problem solved. All in all I'm quite happy with these but would not recommend them to the typical tech-deficient consumer.

Absolutely Fantastic

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:
This baby is unbelievable. I'll tell you, I thought my speakers had good bass. But THIS. Oh. My. Lord. It is simply a thumper. I DJed a fundraiser out doors at a university. This huge metal sheeted building was RATTLING and BUZZING when I cranked up the hiphop. And the amp was not breaking a sweat. This sub will definitely bring that low punch to your setup, and you know, it's not that huge for an 18" sub. It has a great range, is very durable, and well built. It sounds tight, even at high volumes. I doubt I've yet to push this sub...it's just loud even low. Buy it, you'll love it, so will your crowd.

Worthless without crossover

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:
This subwoofer's built-in crossover is junk. A lot of the high still goes through.
