The Behringer EUROLIVE B208D 200W 8" powered speaker powered speaker packs robust 200W of bi-amped power with its 8" woofer and 1.35" compression driver, this lightweight PA system delivers deep lows and crisp, detailed highs for audience coverage. For PA expansion, simply daisy chain additional speakers using the XLR Link output. Crisp, Balanced Audio With 200W Bi-Amped Power

At the core of the EUROLIVE B208D is 200W of bi-amped Class-D power divided between the LF woofer and HF driver for balanced, high-fidelity sound. The 8" woofer is driven by a dedicated 135W amp that delivers authoritative lows you can feel, while the 1.35" compression driver gets a clear 38W for smooth, detailed highs. Far superior to passive speakers, the EUROLIVE B208D 200W's built-in amps and crossovers provide optimized power right where it's needed for the woofer and tweeter to each perform their best.

Convenient Connectivity With XLR and 1/4" Inputs

The EUROLIVE B208D keeps your connectivity options open with both balanced XLR and 1/4" inputs, each with dedicated 2-band EQ for dialing in your sound. Use the XLR input to plug in a microphone for speeches and announcements, then switch to the 1/4" input for instruments, mixers or MP3 playback. The independent EQs allow you to optimize the tone for mics, guitars, keyboards and everything in between. For personal monitoring on stage, connect the B208D to a mixing board's monitor send.

Limiter and Protection Circuitry Prevent Distortion

Even at high volumes, the EUROLIVE B208D maintains pristine sound quality thanks to its built-in limiter and protection circuitry. The intelligent processor constantly monitors the inputs and engages the limiter if the speaker is in danger of distorting, instantly optimizing your levels. Thermal and overload protection safeguards the woofer and tweeter from damage during extreme use. You get uncompromisingly clear sound whether you're at low volumes for background music or cranked up to 11 for a rocking dance party.

Angle Design Provides Floor Monitor Use

The angled cabinet design serves a dual purpose—it allows you to use the EUROLIVE B208D as either a main PA speaker or as a floor monitor wedge. Standing upright, the B208D delivers sound over crowds with its tweeter angled down towards your audience. Flip it on its side and it becomes a stage monitor for band members with the tweeter angled up towards the performers. The versatile cabinet design lets you use the EUROLIVE B208D as either a main PA or monitor without compromising audio quality.

        This speaker is awesome!!! Extremely clear, sounds fantastic!! For more information, read on! I know a lot about music, sound quality, the technology involved and have a lot of hobbies involving musicI like DJing (I don't DJ professionally because I don't have that specific personality). I have a Denon DJ mixer and a Harbinger v2112 (my first Active Speaker). I am a fan of both active and passive speakers, they both have their perks and downfalls. I really enjoy the Harbinger it is clear, big and loud. HOWEVER, it is ALMOST TOO MUCH for my VAST needs/wants. But I will keep it because of the size, power, and it is my other speaker for my stereo setup. This speaker is small, so I can take it anywhere and is easier to lug around than the Harbinger! I thought the sound quality on the Harbinger v2112 was great, but the Behringer speaker is EVEN BETTER! I did NOT know recorded music could sound this good! It literally sounds close to concert level listening. I try to buy the highest quality of music, uncompressed if possible, but some songs on the Harbinger sounds muddy and gross. ALL songs sound amazing on the Behringer! This speaker will be used all around the house but will ultimately complete my stereo system in my bedroom. I am using this speaker, the Denon mixer and the Harbinger for my stereo setup. This speaker completes (is my 2nd speaker for stereo listening) and complements my system so well. It adds so much to the sound quality! The best part is this speaker can be easily taken away from my stereo setup and used for all the other needs/wants I have. Light and simple to use, just plug in and play! I wish that when I bought the Harbinger v2112, that I would have bought two of these Behringer speakers.

        I purchased these speakers to DJ a wedding in a penthouse in Las Vegas for about 40 people. Great sound and more than loud enough, with lots of room to take it louder. Nice full sound on their own. Paired with a sub these could easily do a much larger party. Great value and amazing size.

        My experiencewith item: I own 6. As an add on to support a house PA, or as a simple smaller PA with a sub for a coffee house, or a quick floor monitor, it's hard to fault the B208D. OK, it's not a Neo super-charged monster outdoor PA, but it is clear, has power, and works well in many applications. The treble and bass knobs may help tune the cab for the environment. It is surprisingly loud for 200 watts. Best in it;s class
